Although the turnout was poor, we fulfilled our aim to create breast cancer awareness and raise money for Cuppa for Cansa.
I was shocked when a woman asked me where they can have mammograms done. The woman's question although so simple, made me realise that there is definiately a need for programmes like these to educate our community in these aspects.

Insha Allah, the Pink Hijaab Day Programme will be run annually.
