Durban fashionistas are crying out for new creative
innovative designs in the market.
How often do we hear people complaining about the limited
choices they have on the market - "I can't find something decent to
buy" or they walk into a function and someone else has the exact same
garment or "They think fuller figure people don't have style,they make
boring overdone bags for us"
Well here's a solution to Durbans problems.
Fashion designer and lecturer,Nisha Sewpersad,who has for
the past 26 years been empowering men and women through the Chenille Academy of
Fashion now launches her design studio and designer label "KaR'mA" ~
"Designs that are sure to make heads turn in your direction."
Creating stunning designs for young and old,the fuller
figure and high fashion for the more conservative.
Being no stranger to the bridal and prom gown scenes with
many of her gowns winning "Best Dressed" at matric dances and proms.
Also on the agenda for this designer is the promotion of
innovative up and coming designers who feel stifled about not having a platform
to market themselves to the fashion hungry public.She will be showcasing her
