Recipe: Chillie Sauce

Chillie Sauce -An excellent accompaniment to Savouries!

1  (750ml ) tomato sauce
2 tsp salt
100g fresh red chillies
2 cups vinegar
1/4 cup oil
4tsp Garlic paste
2 tsp Mustard seeds
1/2 cup shredded curry leaves


1.Soak red chillies and liquidise .
2.In a large pot add oil,curry leaves,mustard seeds and garlic paste.Allow to braise.
3.Add liquidised chilli mixture to the above and allow to cook for  +-4 to 5
4.Lastly add tomato sauce,salt and sugar.Allow to simmer over low heat and leave to cool.
5.Bottle sauce and refrigerate.

Add a little to any marinade for a delicious flavour.
