Red cakes and lamingtons

Red cakes and lamington’s
125g butter
3/4 cup castor sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla essence
3 tsps baking powder
1 & 1/2 cups flour
3/4 cup milk

METHOD
Beat sugar and butter until fluffy
Add in eggs one at a time
Add vanilla essence
Then add baking powder.. Flour and alternate with milk... Beat for few min

Bake for 15 min

Red cake syrup
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
1 cup jam
Red colour
Boil and cool for few min

Lamingtons syrup
1&3/4 cups icing suger
3 tablespoons cocoa
1 tsp vanilla essence
Blob of butter
Boil and cool few min

Roll in coconut
Enjoy
