Kashf al shub'haat

Assalaam alaikum. Bismillah.

Kashf Al shub'haat (removing doubts)
By Muhammad Abdul Wahhab

CH. 2 part 1.
Showing proofs that the Idolator's whom the Messenger (peace be upon him) fought believed that Allah is the creator:

Believing that Allah is the creator and sustainer does not make one a Muslim if one chooses to worship others besides Him.

Allah says:
Say (O Muhammad), "who provides for you from the sky and the earth? Who owns (your) hearing and sight? Who brings out the living from the dead and the dead from the living? And who disposes the affairs?"

They will say, "Allah" say: will you not then be afraid of Allah's punishment (for setting up rivals in worship with Allah?). (Yunus: 31)

What we learn:
1. That the Mushriks believed that Allah is the creator and sustainer, disposer of affairs, who brings rain, causes life and death.

2. This belief did not make them Muslims since they left out the most important factor: to worship Allah alone and to keep away from the worship of idols.

3. They did not worship him alone. Rather they worshipped others with Him or worshipped others besides him.

4. Saying laa ilaaha illa Allah while committing shirk does not include one among Muslims. The statement is empty. It has no meaning to its reciter.

5. Many are deluded that saying the Shahadah makes them Muslims even if they worship others beside Allah.

6. Islam is a religion with laws and regulations. U have to fulfil them before u enter and its main regulation to gain entry, is to do away and reject false gods. If u do not, then u may as well seek another religion.

(Explanations are mine).
To be continued inshaa Allah.
