A selection of easy Puri recipes


PURI
2cups flour ,2 tblsp butter, ½ tsp salt, 1tsp baking powder and 1cup cold milk
Take flour baking powder and salt in a bowl. Rub the butter in the flour mixture till it resembles breadcrumbs Add the cold milk and make a soft dough Roll and cut in desired pieces and fry in deep oil enjoy


CHILLI PURI
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1Tblsp butter
1/2tsp crushed chilies
1/2 tsp dried parsley.
1/2 tsp garlic flakes
Form breadcrumbs.
Make a firm dough with warm milk-water mix
FLOP PROOF PURIS
3 cups flour
1level tsp salt
1 ½ cups milk
¼ cup cold water
2 tbsp butter
boil milk, water and butter
add to flour as needed to make a soft dough
Leave aside for half an hour before rolling out
Roll out shapes as desired and fry in hot oil..
SOFT PURIS
2 cups flour
3/4 tbsp ghee
1/2 cup milk
1/8 cup yoghurt
1/4tsp baking powder
Mix to form soft dough, roll out and cut in shapes. Nice with patha and kebabs
