Quick to condemn & slow to praise. That's the sad state we are in today. Instead of pointing a finger, focus instead on improving ourselves.

If you are irritated by someone's success or popularity, it's time to check your heart. Start purifying it. Don't let the feeling fester!

Value those who know your weakness but highlight your strength, know your fears but keep your faith in check. Treasure such positive souls.

There's no need to brag about your life & worse to do it on social media. The evil eye is real & dangerous. Spare a thought before you post!

Don't live your life to impress others. We see a lot of that on social platforms today with each one trying to outdo the other. Be yourself.

Look beyond what you see on social media. The real life is the 90% that you don't see. Avoid bringing others down based on what's posted!

Be wary of Satan; always playing with your emotions & makes you feel sad & worthles, like no one cares. But the Almighty cares & loves you.

Remember no matter how bad things are, nothing lasts. So you just have to be strong when you want to give up, face up to things when you want to run away! It will be fine in the end.

Be wary of getting too attached to people & things. They will eventually take you away from the Almighty. Recognise it before it's too late.

Your list of achievements may span from A - Z, but in the end, it's just you, your deeds & the Almighty. May He grant us all good endings.

Don't curse time. The Almighty's the Owner of time. We all have 24 hours. But some get more out of each day than others. It's His Blessing.

Your heart has answers you can't find elsewhere. If you're connected to the Almighty, He'll send peace; or else, anxiety & doubt will rule.

Spend more time daily reflecting on what the Almighty's blessed you with rather than worrying over what's missing in your life! Be grateful.

Almighty. I can't turn back the clock or undo what I've done. But knowing You're watching over me, gives me renewed Hope. Have Mercy on me.

The value of life

PLEASE YOU MUST READ THIS

THE VALUE OF LIFE

The owner of a small business,
A friend of the great poet
Suryam,
met him on the street
& asked him,
“Mr. Suryam,
I need to sell my small farm,
the one u know so well,
could u please write an
announcement for me in the paper?”

He wrote:

For Sale: A beautiful property,
where birds sing at dawn in extensive woodland,
bisected by the brilliant &
sparkling waters of a large stream. The house is bathed by the rising sun. It offers tranquil shade in the evening on the veranda.

Some time later, the poet met his friend & asked whether he had sold the property, to which the man replied,
“I’ve changed my mind.
When I read what u had written,
I realized the treasure that was mine.”

Sometimes we underestimate
the good things we have - chasing after the mirages of false treasures. We often see people letting go of their children, their families, their spouses, their friends, their professions, their knowledge, their good health & the wonderful memories of life that was accumulated over the years. They throw out what God has given them so freely, those priceless possessions that were nourished with so much care & effort.

Look around & appreciate
what u have: ur home,
ur l♡ved ones,
friends on whom u can rely,
the knowledge u have gained,
ur good health, &
all the beautiful things in life
that are truly ur most precious treasures & then remember, we can no longer shower kindness on those we l♡ve after they have passed away.

Each moment is precious & the true value of life lies within the breath of life itself!

"May we teach our children not to seek after riches,
but rather to learn about happiness and when they grow up,
They will know the value of life,
Not the price of things."

The struggle you make for the sake of Allah every step, every discomfort you go through brings you one step closer to Allah

Background of At'Tahiyaat

Do you know background of ATTA'HIYYAAT, as to why we recite it in every namaz?

Attahiyyaat is a very important 'Dua' we repeat it in our daily prayers. When I learnt the importance of this, it melted my heart.

Attahiyat is actually a part of conversation between Our Creator Allah SWT and our beloved Prophet Muhammad Sallalahu'alayhi wasallam during his journey of Al Isra Wal Miraj.

When Prophet Muhammad Sallalahualayhiwasallam met Allah SWT, he didn't say 'Assalam aleikum'. What is someone going to say when he meets Allah ? We can't wish HIM peace because ALL sources of peace are through HIM.

So Prophet Muhammad Sallalahualayhiwasallam said:

"Attahiyyaatu Lillahi Was Salawatu Wattayyibatu" (All compliments, all prayer and worship are for Allah)

Allah replied:
"Assalamu Alaika Ayyuhannabiyyu 'Warahmatullahi Wabarka'tuhu" (Peace be upon you, Oh Prophet and Allah's Mercy and Blessings).

To this, Prophet Muhammad sallalahualayhiwasallam replied:
"Assalamu Alaina Wa'ala'Ibadillahis Saa'liheen" (Peace be on us and on all good slaves of Allah)

Note* Prophet Muhammad sallalahualayhiwasallam included "us" in his reply... (and on all good slaves of Allah)

And listening to this conversation between Allah and His Messenger sallalahualayhiwasalam, the Angels said:
"Ash'had'u'un La ilahaillallahu Wa Ash'hadu Anna Muhammadun Abd'uhu Wa Rasooluh"
(I bear witness that no one is worthy of worship except Allah And I bear witness that Muhammad is His Messenger).

SubhanAllah!
I now understand the importance of this conversation in our daily prayers and how the Salat was prescribed to us.

Ways to generate Love of Allah

5 Ways of Generating the Love of Allah Ta’ala into Our Hearts
bismillahh

But those who believe are stronger in love for Allah ~ Surah Al Baqarah 2:165

. . .

1 • Abundant remembrance of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala through Zikrullah. The more a person makes the Zikr of Allah, the more HIS love increases in a persons heart.

2 • Pondering over the innumerable Ni’mats (bounties) that Allah Ta’ala has bestowed upon us.
When one contemplates over the continuous bounties Allah has showered upon him, then the response to Allah would be, that one begins to love Allah, (his BENEFACTOR ) more and more …

3 • Keeping the company of the friends of Allah Ta’ala, in whose companionship, the effects of Allah Ta’ala’s muhhabbat (love) is engendered into our hearts.

4 • Remaining in the obedience of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala. The more one obeys his Beloved, the more his love increases.

5 • Making Dua to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala to instil HIS love into our heart.

Allahumma inni as-aluka hubbaka, wa hubba may-yuhibbuka, wa hubba ‘amalin yuqarribu ila hubbika.

O Allah! I ask You for Your love and the love of those who love You, and for the love of every action which will bring me closer to Your love.

"If you haven't lived with someone, had dealings with them or traveled with them, then you cannot claim to know them well.

" Don't keep dwelling on what someone used to do and what he was like. Drop all reference to the past and look at the kind of person he is today.

Train our minds not to think bad about others. Always give excuses for them because in all fairness, we never know what the true story is.

We have no right to judge others for the choices they make when we don't know their reasons for doing so. Leave the judging to the Almighty Alone!

The third kalimah has a unique and very interesting story behind it.

It all started before Allah Ta'alah created Adam A.S. The Angels were trying to move the Arsh (Throne) of Allah Ta'alah but it was too heavy and wouldn't budge.

So they asked Almighty Allah for help. Allah told them to recite "Subhanallah." The Angels did as they were told and found that it gave them power
and strength and they were able to move
the Arsh. They liked this so much that they began constantly hymning,

"Subhanallah."- (Glory be to Allah)

Then Allah created Adam (A.S.) When Allah blew life into Adam, the first thing he did was sneeze and say

"Alhamdulillah" (All praise be to Allah)

The angels liked this act so much that they added this to their praise and glorification of Allah. Thus the kalimah became:

"Subhanallah(i) Walhamdulillah"

Hundreds of years passed and the Prophet Nooh (A.S.) was now on earth. For nine hundred years he proclaimed the oneness of Allah with the words

"La ilaha illallah." (There is none worthy of worhip)

The Angels loved this act so much that they added this to the kalimah. Thus, the kalimah now became

"Subhanallah(i) Walhamdulillah(i) Wa La ilaha illallah"

The Angels kept repeating this kalimah day and night. Many centuries passed and the Prophet Ebrahim A.S. (Abraham) was asked by Almighty Allah to sacrifice his beloved son Ismaeel A.S. He was about to slaughter his son and He needed something to give him the courage he needed to do this difficult deed. So he recited

"Allahu Akbar." (Allah is Great)

The Angels loved this act so much that they added "Allahu Akbar" to the kalimah. Thus the kalimah became

"Subhanallah(i) Walhamdulillah(i) Wa La ilaha ilallah(u) Wallahu Akbar."

More centuries passed. It was the night of Meraj, when our Beloved Prophet Muhammed S.A.W. ascended to the Heavens with Gibraeel A.S. There Gibraeel A.S. told Nabee S.A.W. the story and Nabee (S.A.W.) added the final part of the Kalimah

"Wala Hawla Wa La Quwwata illah Billah Hil
Aleyeel Azeem."

Thus the kalimah now became

"Subhanallah(i) Walhamdulillah(i) Wa La ilaha illallah(u) Wallahu Akbar Wala Hawla Wa La Quwwata illah Billah Hil Aleyeel Azeem"

(There is no Power and Might except from Allah, The Most High, The Great) And up to this day, this kalimah (or declaration of faith) buzzes around the Arsh of Almighy Allah.

Third Kalima is Tumjeed, this is the Kalima(the first part) that is recited 33 times after each Farz Namaaz, and is called Tasbih Fatima .

Surah Fatiha- protects one from the anger of Allah.
Surah Yaseen- from the thirst of the Day of Judgement.
Sura Waaqiah- from poverty and starvation
Surah Mulk- from the punishment of the grave
Surah Kausar- from the enmity of the enemy
Surah Kaafiroon- from kufr at the time of death
Surah Ikhlaas- from hypocrisy
Surah ! Falaq- from calamities.
Surah Naas- from Evil thoughts.

Should someone become aware of the above from your message and read any of these surahs, u will also receive the sawaab for passing on the knowledge.

Hazrat Muhammad S.A.W.W (PBUH) says that If a person recites Ayatal Kursi after every Farz Namaz then there will be nothing between him and Heaven except "Death".

There is a Hadith that says 3rd kalima is such a great medicine that it cures every disease and the most minor disease it cures is - Sorrow. (Gham).

Another Hadith says if a person recites surah Ikhlaas 10 times in a day then Allah builds a palace for him in the Heaven and the last but not the least ALLAH says spread the knowledge whatever u have; it is the duty of every Muslim. May ALLAH accepts our good deeds.

No matter what your problems are, don't lose hope. Identify things you can't control. Leave that to Him.

Dua

Dua is an amazing exchange.
  U hand over ur worries
       to اللّه  Subhana Ta'ala
& He Hands over His blessings
         to u!

Call unto اللّه  Subhana Ta'ala using His 99 Names.
Call unto Him using His beautiful name; Al Fattah- The Opener.

When things are too difficult or seem impossible,
when u feel as though all doors are closed..
when u see no way out of ur predicament..
when u have no options ..
When u're venturing out into the scary
   unknown...
 Then definitely اللّه  Subhana Ta'ala is inviting u to know Him by His beautiful Name;
Al Fattah- The One who Opens doors for u, doors u think are impossible to open or doors that u never thought existed,

And when اللّه  Subhana Ta'ala sends u a solution, He gives u that which exceeds ur expectations.

When Hajar (Alayhis salaam)was running between Safa & Marwa, all she hoped for was some nourishment for her baby, or to see people who could help.
And she didn’t give up, she went running back & forth 7 times. So اللّه  Subhana Ta'ala did not just give her nourishment for the day or week or month – He gave her the well of zamzam which quenched baby Ismail (Alayhis salaam's) thirst & which satiates billions of Muslims right until today. Zamzam brought people to settle in the area that was barren dessert & this was where the Ka’aba Sharief was built.
That is an opening from Allah Ta'ala ! AL FATTAH- THE ONLY OPENER!

Turn to Him before turning to anyone else..He holds the master key for all ur closed doors! Sometimes we make du'a for a door of duniya .when it doesn't open we cry not realising that اللّـه has instead Opened a door of Jannah for us".

Letter from a mother to her daughter

“LETTER FROM A MOTHER TO A DAUGHTER:

“My dear girl, the day you see I’m getting old, I ask you to please be patient, but most of all, try to understand what I’m going through.

If when we talk, I repeat the same thing a thousand times, don’t interrupt to say: “You said the same thing a minute ago”… Just listen, please. Try to remember the times when you were little and I would read the same story night after night until you would fall asleep.

When I don’t want to take a bath, don’t be mad and don’t embarrass me. Remember when I had to run after you making excuses and trying to get you to take a shower when you were just a girl?
When you see how ignorant I am when it comes to new technology, give me the time to learn and don’t look at me that way… remember, honey, I patiently taught you how to do many things like eating appropriately, getting dressed, combing your hair and dealing with life’s issues every day… the day you see I’m getting old, I ask you to please be patient, but most of all, try to understand what I’m going through.
If I occasionally lose track of what we’re talking about, give me the time to remember, and if I can’t, don’t be nervous, impatient or arrogant. Just know in your heart that the most important thing for me is to be with you.

And when my old, tired legs don’t let me move as quickly as before, give me your hand the same way that I offered mine to you when you first walked.

When those days come, don’t feel sad… just be with me, and understand me while I get to the end of my life with love.

I’ll cherish and thank you for the gift of time and joy we shared. With a big smile and the huge love I’ve always had for you, I just want to say, I love you… my darling daughter.”

Some people will go all out to steal your peace & provoke a reaction from you. They'll do what it takes to get your attention. Don't react.

Be wary of people who stab you in the back repeatedly & then behave like they're the ones who have been wronged. It's best to avoid them.

Some act like they don't know you & are only friendly when they need help. So be it. Help if you can. He sends different people to test us!

We get upset, even angry when people call us only when they need our help. But think for a moment, many of us do likewise with our Maker!

Pleasing people

I laughed and they said "can't you be modest"
I cried and they said "why don't you smile?"

I smiled and they said "he's a show off"
I frowned and they said "i started showing my true colors"

I was silent and they said i had a feeble tongue
When i spoke they said i was too talkative

When i was tolerant they called it cowardice
And said, had I been brave, i would have taken a revenge

When i showed up some courage they said it was rash & reckless
And i wouldn't have behaved so if i were balanced.

When I said NO they considered me odd,
When i agreed with them, they called me a blind follower

So it became certain, that no matter how hard i try,
Pleasing People will bring nothing but criticism.

So don't care of people .only try to please Allah subhanaho wa taala.

Surah Yusuf - Verse 16 to 18

Surah Yusuf, Verse 16-18:

{16. And they came weeping to their father at nightfall. 17. They said, "O our father, indeed we went racing each other and left Yusuf with our possessions, and a wolf ate him. But you would not believe us, even if we were truthful.” 18. And they came with (stains of) false blood on his shirt. He (Ya'qub) said, "Rather, your souls have enticed you to something, so patience is most fitting. And Allah is the one sought for help against that which you describe.”}

Yusuf’s brothers slaughtered a sheep and stained Yusuf's shirt with its blood. But, they forgot to tear the shirt, and this is why Ya`qub did not believe them.

Friday... acceptance of duas

Moments of Acceptance of Duas on a Friday

Amongst the numerous virtues of Jumu'ah, Allah Subhaanahu Wa Ta’ala has kept a certain unspecified hour on the day of Friday, wherein a Believer’s supplications (Duas) are accepted. According to various Ahadeeth, the majority of the Ulema mention, that, these moments of guaranteed acceptance, are on a Friday, after the Asr Salaah (ie the time before the Maghrib Salaah). The fervent supplications of a servant to AllahSubhaanahu Wa Ta’ala are answered during this blessed time.

Hazrat Anas bin Malik Radiyallahu Anhu narrated that : Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said: "Seek out the hour that is hoped for on Friday (for dua), after Asr until the sun has set” ~ (Tirmidhi)

Kulunji

A cure for every illness in the Black Seed (Kulunji)

Narrated by Hadhrat Aa’isha RadiAllahu Anha

Rasulullaah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) advised the use of the black seed, saying, “It is a cure for everything except death.”

[Bukhaari 5687]
_________________________

Allaama Ibn Qayyim (RA) has written that use of the black seed is effective in curing flatulence, phlegm and fever. If mixed with honey and taken with hot water, it is effective in removing stones from the kidney and bladder.

Surah Yusuf - Verse 21

Surah Yusuf, Verse 21:

{And the one from Egypt who bought him said to his wife, "Make his residence comfortable. Perhaps he will benefit us, or we will adopt him as a son." And thus, We established Yusuf in the land that We might teach him the interpretation of events. And Allah has full power over His decree, but most people do not know.}

The man who bought Yusuf was the minister of Egypt at the time, and his title was `Aziz’. Allah mentions the favors that He granted Yusuf, peace be upon him, by which He made the man who bought him, take care of him and provide him with a comfortable life. The man also ordered his wife to be kind to Yusuf and had good hopes for his future, because of his firm righteous behavior.

{that We might teach him the interpretation of events.}  referring to the interpretation of dreams.

{And Allah has full power over His decree) if He wills something, then there is no averting His decision, nor can it ever be stopped or contradicted. Rather, Allah has full power over everything and everyone else.

{but most people do not know.) meaning, have no knowledge of Allah's wisdom with regards to His creation, compassion and doing what He wills.

The ones with fake smiles exist. They smile to your face & when you leave, they start backbiting & criticising you. May He protect us all.

Beware the ones who won't hesitate to insult you behind your back & pretend like they're your friend when they meet you. Keep your distance!

Beware criticisms hurled at you. Those who are sincere criticise when necessary. Those with bad intentions just do it to hurt & wound you!

Stay calm if someone gossips or backbites you. They're taking away your bad deeds & giving you their good ones as they engage in bad acts.

Surah Yusuf - Verse 19 to 20

Surah Yusuf, Verse 19-20:

{19. And there came a caravan of travelers and they sent their water-drawer, and he let down his bucket (into the well). He said: "What good news! Here is a boy.'' So they hid him as merchandise. And Allah is All-Knowing of what they did. 20. And they sold him for a reduced price - a few Dirhams - And they were of those who regarded him insignificant.}
