Ibn al-Qayyīm رحمه الله said in his famous poem:

🌼And if you ask about its ground and its soil, then it is of musk and saffron.

🌼And if you ask about its roof, then it is the Throne of the Most Merciful.

🌼And if you ask about its rocks, then they are pearls and jewels.

🌼And if you ask about its buildings, then they are made of bricks of gold and silver.

🌼And if you ask about its trees, then it does not contain a single tree except that its trunk is made of gold and silver.

🌼And if you ask about its fruits, then they are softer than butter and sweeter than honey.

🌼And if you ask about its leaves, then they are softer than the softest cloth.

🌼And if you ask about its rivers, then there are rivers of milk who's taste does not change, and rivers of wine that is delicious to those who drink it, and rivers of honey that is pure, and rivers of water that is fresh.

🌼And if you ask about their food, then it is fruits from whatever they will choose, and the meat of whatever birds they desire.

"Imagine...sitting with your spouse in Jannah.

"Imagine...sitting with your spouse in Jannah. And then deciding what the plans would be for that day...
Should we go outside, sit on our thrones, with waterfalls of milk and honey flowing beneath us? And enjoy a cup of Jannah wine, while smelling the sweet scent of Jannah musk?
Should we go to the souq, the market place, and meet all of our old friends that we used to kick it off with in the dunya, and talk about what dunya was like, and how we all made it here, and how Allah (swt) bestowed His favor upon us?

Hazrat Maalik bin Dinaar رحمه الله went to visit Hazrat Rabia Basriyya رحمة الله عليها. He found in her home only a partly broken jug which she used for wudhu and drinking water; a very old straw mat on which she slept and a brick which she used as a pillow.
Hazrat Maalik رحمه الله said: "I have many affluent friends. Shall I ask them to bring some items for you?"
Hazrat Rabia رحمة الله عليها said: "O Maalik! Is my Provider, your Provider and the Provider of the wealthy not the same Being?"
Hazrat Maalik رحمه الله replied in the affirmative.

Hazrat Moulana Yunus Patel Saheb rahmatullaahi 'alayh says :
I had mentioned in a talk that we have ISTIQAAMAT ( steadfastness ) when it comes to our meals.  We are punctual and regular with breakfast, lunch and supper ; we even have. Snack time , tea-break, high tea, and midnight snack.... We won't let one meal time pass, without satiating our stomachs - even if the stomach is already full.

Mean moms

Someday when my children are old enough to understand the logic that motivates a parent, I will tell them, as my Mean Mom told me:
‘I loved you enough to ask where you were going, with whom, and what time you would be home.
I loved you enough to be silent and let you discover that your new best friend was a creep.
I loved you enough to stand over you for two hours while you cleaned your room, a job that should have taken 15 minutes.
I loved you enough to let you see anger, disappointment, and tears in my eyes.
Children must learn that their parents aren’t perfect..

LOVE STORY between Zainab bintMuhammad and Abu El'Ass ibn Rabee'

This is the LOVE STORY between Zainab bint
Muhammad and Abu El'Ass ibn Rabee'; Zainab
was the daughter of the Prophet (PBUH) and her
cousin Abu El'Ass, was Khadeeja's (RA) nephew.
He was one of the nobles of the Quraish, and the
Prophet (SAW) loved him very much.
One day Abu El'Ass went to the Prophet (SAW)
before he had received his mission of
Prophethood and said: "I want to marry your
eldest daughter". So the Prophet replied: "I must
ask her first". He (SAW) went to Zainab and
asked her: "Your cousin came to me and he
wishes to marry you, do you accept him as your
husband?" Her face turned red with bashfulness
and she smiled.

A matlabi!

Never consider somebody a MATLABI:
He only calls me when he needs something!"
How often do we hear the above statement in our gatherings and assemblies? A person who only ever calls because he needs something. Know, O brother and sister in Islam, that when a person is afflicted with a calamity or a trial of much hardship, they only ever remember people of help. A specific handful of people whom Allah has raised over others and granted them the ability - after the will of Allah - to support, relieve and comfort.

♥♥♥Reward for reciting 1000 Durood on the day of Jumuah

Hadhrat Abu Musa Al-Madeeni (Radhiallahu Anhu)reports that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: “The one who recites durood upon me a thousand times on the day of Friday, will not pass away until he is shown his abode in Paradise.”
(القول الدبيع ص401)

♥♥♥Reward for Reciting Surah Kahf on the day of Jumuah

Hadhrat Ibn Umar (Radhiallahu Anhuma) reports that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: “The one who recites Surah Kahf on the day of Jum’uah, a noor (light)  emanates from beneath his feet and extends to the sky. This noor will shine for him on the day of Qiyaamah, and all his (minor) sins committed between the two Jum’uah’s will be forgiven.
(الترغيب و الترهيب ص577)

♥♥♥The righteous are those who restrain their desire to sin

Ibn Rajab Rahimahullah has reported: “Our righteous predecessors have said,“The one who fears Allah is not one who weeps and his eyes overflow with tears. The one who fears Allah is he who forsakes his Haraam desires even when he is able to commit them. Indeed, the greatest of reward are for those who obey Allah when secluded from the eyes of men.” (Rasa’il Ibn Rajab)

Tafseer..Surah Kahf

Being married is not just about eating together, sleeping and waking side by side, strolling to the beach or village river together, doing the lovey-dovey, pillow fights together or doing chores together.
This are only the extra-curricular activities, the main thing that needs to be done together is Iba'dah, and this is where many couples fall short. We were created for the worship of Allah, here are the ways to do it together:
1)Abu says:
Sweetheart, its friday, let's recite surah khaf together.
2)Ummu says:
My boo, it's friday, I will like to follow you to ju'mah today, I miss the khutbah series.
3)Aboo says:
Hey dear, wakie wakie, wake up and let's pray, its time for tahajud, our LORD is in the first heaven calling on to us.

Allahumma Bika Asbahna Wa Bika Amsayna Wa Bika Nahya, Wa Bika Namutu Wa Ilaikan-nushur.

Powerful Dua for Protection

We are living in a country where hijacking, burglaries and crime are the order of the day. We hear of incidents occurring daily and because of this, we are in a constant state of fear and worry. Every person dreads being held up or harmed. Just the mere thought of a burglary is enough to send shivers down our spines.

Our beautiful Deen is perfect and complete. It has taken care of every aspect of our lives and has also taken into consideration our safety and comfort. Our Deen has also taught us methods of gaining the Divine protection of Allah (the Being Whom, there is no Might and Power besides His). If our Loving Allah protects us, what else do we need?

Rasulullah Sallallahu alayhi wasallam has taught us a beautiful Dua to recite when leaving the home. It will take a few seconds to recite, but the benefits are tremendous. Learn the Dua, understand its meaning and recite it when leaving the home with full conviction in the words of Rasulullah Sallallahu alayhi wasallam. By doing this, our hearts will be at ease and Allah Ta’ala will protect us from all evils and calamities, Insha’Allah. Teach it to our children as well and ensure that they recite it when leaving home. There can be no doubt in the prescription of Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam).

Rasulullah Sallallahu alayhi wasallam said, “Whoever recites this Dua when leaving home, the Angels say to him, ‘That (Dua) suffices you; you shall be guided, your needs shall be taken care of and you will be protected.’” (Nasaai) In the narration of Abu Dawood an additional benefit is mentioned that shaytaan goes  far away from him.

بِسْمِ اللهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللهِ لَاحَوْلَ وَلَاقُوَّةَ اِلَّا بِاللهِ

(I leave) with the name of Allah, I rely on A

AbduLlah bin as-Sunnabiji (radiAllahu 'anhu) stated that the Messenger of Allah (salAllahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said:

"When a slave makes ablution and rinses his mouth, his wrong deeds fall from it. As he rinses his nose, his wrong deeds fall from it. When he washes his face, his wrong deeds fall from it until they fall from beneath his eyelashes. When he washes his hands, his wrong deeds fall from them until they fall from beneath his finger-nails. When he wipes his head, his wrong deeds fall from it until they fall from his ears. When he washes his feet, his wrong deeds fall from them until they fall from beneath his toenails. Then his walking to the mosque and his prayer give him extra reward"

The travellers tale

*A traveler* once came to the masjid to see the *Prophet Muhammad* (S.A.W) after greeting the *Prophet* (S.A.W), he was asked where he was from. The *traveler* replied that he came from very far just to get a few questions answered.
Following is the dialogue between the *traveler* and the *Prophet* (S.A.W).
*Traveler* : I do not want
punishments to be written in my account.
*Prophet* : Behave well with your parents
*Traveler* : I want to be known amongst people as an intelligent person.

Green Mango Smoothie

A great way of preparing chicken and using up a can of butter beans. A dish with incredible flavour.

6 pieces chicken, thigh and drumstick
Salt and pepper
1 tsp ginger and garlic paste
1 tsp chicken spice
1 tsp mixed herbs
A few drops lemon juice

Season chicken with above. Fry in a little oil until browned on all sides, about 8 minutes. Remove and set aside.

In same pot,
fry 1 chopped onion,
3 chopped green chillies and 4 chopped cloves of garlic.
When light brown, add chicken back to pot, throw in a few sprigs thyme, add 2 tablespoons water, cover and cook on medium for about 20 minutes, turning occasionally.
When chicken is nearly cooked, throw in a can of butter beans, 1 small punnet of sliced mushrooms and crumble in 1 chicken stock cube. Add 2 tablespoons water if necessary. Let it cook for about 5 minutes, then add a handful  of baby tomatoes and baby spinach leaves. Turn off heat, give a gentle stir.

Food for thought...

Where does the Ummah’s Salvation Lie?

Hazrat Mufti Ebrahim Salejee (Daamat Barakaatuhu) mentioned:

Today the Muslim Ummah is facing problems from all sides. Everyone is concerned in trying to find a solution. Different methods have been adopted in an effort to restore the peace the Ummah once enjoyed. But what is the way the Quraan Shareef advocates and what was the way of the Sahaabah (radhiyallahu ‘anhum)? Allah Ta‘ala says:

إِنَّ اللَّـهَ لا يُغَيِّرُ ما بِقَومٍ حَتّى يُغَيِّروا ما بِأَنفُسِهِم

“Allah Ta‘ala will not change the condition of a nation until they change themselves.”

History bears testimony that when people obeyed Allah Ta‘ala and held on to deen, then everything worked in their favour. The moment they changed their approach, the favourable conditions which they enjoyed, changed.

India was under Muslim rule for eight hundred years, but when disobedience crept into their lives, their sovereignty also fell away. Similar is the case of Spain and Palestine. It is time that the Ummah adopts this attitude of loyalty and obedience to Allah Ta‘ala in order to attract His divine aid and assistance.......................... May ALLAH Most Merciful Grant us True understanding of Deen....Aameen thumma Aameen

Life is a gift

*This touched me.*
*There was a blind girl who hated herself because she was blind.*

*She hated everyone, except her loving boyfriend. He was always there for her.*
*She told her boyfriend, 'If I could only see the world, I will marry you.'*
*One day, someone donated a pair of eyes to her. When the bandages came off, she was able to see everything, including her boyfriend.*
*He asked her,’ Now that you can see the world, will you marry me?'*

Gain the love...

How to gain the ‘Love’ of Allah Subhaanahu Wa Ta’ala

Hazrat Thanvi RA has mentioned a prescription of ‘four actions‘ to gain the ‘Love of Allah Ta’ala‘ :

1. Compare the immense kindness and favours of Allah Ta’ala to our ingratitude and disobedience of Him.

2. Exert ourselves and strive to do those righteous deeds that Allah Ta’ala desires of us and leads us to Him, (Salaah, Zikr, Recitation of Qur’aan, etc).

3. Make specific time for engaging in the Zikr of Allah Ta’ala daily.

4. Keep the company of the pious friends of Allah Ta’ala, in whose companionship, the effects of Allah Ta’ala’s muhhabbat is generated into our hearts.

" The word (الحزن) "sadness" does not appear in the Qur'aan except in the form of forbidding it
(ولا تهنو ولاتحزنوا)
or in the form of negating it
(فلاخوف عليهم ولا هم يحزنون).
And the reason for this is because there is no benefit for having sadness in the heart. The most beloved thing to Shaitan is to make the believing slave sad by taking him off track.
The Prophet (ﷺ) sought refuge in Allaah (سبحانه وتعالى) from sadness
(اللهم إني أعوذ بك من الهم والحزن)
Ibnul Qayyim رحمه الله said: "Sadness weakens the heart and diminishes determination and wanting to go forward. And there is nothing more beloved to the Shaitan than the sadness of a believer."

Social media

Like rat poison, brightly coloured and sweetly flavoured to entrap and entice,

Messages come to our phones, in the colours of Public Service and flavour of Sincere Advice

Stripped of the pious words and honourable names, the messages are just plain old Slander and Gossip,

As poisonous as it always had been, but now spreading  faster and wider from fingertip to fingertip!

Eating the dead flesh of a brother or sister had just become a sought after meal,

And Social Media is the restaurant serving it to us braaied, fryed,  boiled or cooked with zeal!

Have you prayed?

Husband: Have you prayed 'Asr?
Wife: No.
Husband: Why?!
Wife: I got back from work tired a bit so I took me a nap.
Husband: Ok... Go pray Asr and Maghrib before its time for Isha.
The next day... the husband leaves town on a business trip... But a few hours after his flight was scheduled to arrive he didn't call or even text her like he usually does to let her know that he had arrived safely..!!

Food for thought

💭Food for thought 💭
Saying a kind word, complimenting & encouraging others doesn't take much effort and benefits us more than the receiver.
Because we are all connected on a spiritual level, the positive energy we devote to others will reflect back to us.

Make an effort to give happiness to those around  Ý♡ũ & in return u'l feel satisfaction & pleasure.

When we make an effort to compliment and encourage others, WE benefit by feeling more positive about ourselves.

Our generosity and kindness to others will result in generosity and kindness from others, and we create an ongoing cycle of positive energy that benefits everyone.

Please, carefully look into the list below to see where you may want to make amends on yourself or the young ones you are caring for.
Children, if not properly groomed may never get to the top in life, even if the parents are at the top of their career.
Manners take you to where your education can't irrespective of your status, money or the "who you know" factor. This is not meant to hurt anyone or pinpoint on someone for their upbringing. Its a general message targeted to all the parents of today.
1) Going to your child's school dressed indecently? Think again.
2) Speaking rashly to your child's teacher.
3) Cursing, using foul words or swearing in front of your children.
4) Using makeup on children.
5) Dressing with tight clothes and indecently for children (they loose the sense of their princesshood and may not listen to u in future)
7) Your child hold the cup or glassware by the brim and you don't correct.
8) Your children don't greet and you just feel they will come around one day because they have a mood swing. ( You will be blamed for it)
9) Your children eat with their mouth opened and you feel they will grow up some day.
10) Your children bring home something you did not buy for them and you say nothing. ( that is the beginning of stealing)
11) They talk back at you and you conclude it's okay since you are a 21st century mummy. ( You will hate yourself if they do that outside and they are disciplined )
12) They interrupt when you are speaking with another adult and you think they are bold and clever. (Its really bad manners)
13) They exercise authority over their nanny and domestic staff and you let them be. ( that is bad parenting)
14) They say things like "my driver is on his way..."
I am not an advocate that children should call your domestic staff aunty or brother, calling them by name when they are not young people is not poise either. The use of Miss, Mr or Mrs will look good on them.
15) Your children don't say- 'Thank you' when they have been helped or served something and you are cool with that. (Bad parenting)
16) When your children cannot stand children who are less privileged.
18) When they pick their nose with their hands.
19) When they don't wash their hands after visiting the washroom.
20) When your children take something from the fridge without taking permission. (Bad parenting)
21) When your children don't knock on closed doors.
22) When your children don't collect from your hands the stuff you brought in as you walk in through the door.
23) When your children request for a bribe to carry out their home chores or extra task. (That is disgraceful )
24) When your children act like their grand parents irritate them.
25) When your children have not learnt to get up from the chair for the elderly or visitors to sit.
26) When your child tells a lot of lies. (You will both cry in the future)
27) When your child asks "who is that?" at a knock on your door instead of "please, who is there."
28) When your child is always seated by your visitors when being served drinks etc.
29) When your children still point their fingers at other people.
30) When your children play and jump around when prayers are going on.(age 4 above).
Dont be a 21st Century  parent who cannot correct a child. Train your child in then way of the Lord so that when he grows up he will not depart frm it.
Please circulate to all parents and grandparents that are on your contact list

Pre Ramadaan Fair

One Ayah Changed My Life

Al-Fudayl ibn ‘Iyaad was famous for his piety and worship, but he was not always a practising Muslim. In his early years, Al-Fudayl was an infamous highway robber; he would prowl in the night for victims on the road from Abu Ward to Sarakhas. Between these two cities was a small village in which lived a girl that Al-Fudayl was in love with. One night, out of desperation to be with her, Al-Fudayl climbed the wall of her home. As he was climbing over it, he heard a voice recite:"Has the time not come for those who have believed that their hearts should become humbly submissive at the remembrance of Allah..." Surah Al-Ḥadeed 57, Ayah 16.

Seeking forgiveness

Ibn Abbās R.A narrates that Rasulullāh ﷺ has said that: "When a person commits himself to regularly supplicating for forgiveness, *Allāh will grant him safety from every misery, deliverance from every sorrow, and Allāh will provide him livelihood from where he does not expect*."

*Means of attaining barakah in our homes*

*Barakah* a word we here often but sadly we have lost it in our homes, so we find no barakah in time, nor in sustenance or our wealt h and children, so what then is the key to barakah.
*There are 8 keys to attaining barakah* :
*1-Tilaawah of the Quraan *:
‎قال الله تعالى
‎(وهذا كتاب أنزلناه مبارك)
Allah has made the Quraan al Kareem a source of barakah, if we ponder over its meaning and we live our lives according to its teachings . And for this reason our beloved messenger ﷺ said about the home in which Quraan is recited.
‎ (تسكنه الملائكة تهجره الشياطين ويتسع بأهله ويكثر خيره).
The malaaikahs live in it, the shaithaans flee from it and it expands for the family and goodness increases in it.

‎*2-البسملة وذكر الله*:
*Saying bismillah and making the zikr of Allah*
‎قال رسول الله صل الله عليه وسلم
‎إذا دخل الرجل بيته فذكر الله تعالى عند دخوله وعند طعامه، قال الشيطان لأصحابه لا مبيت ولا عشاء
The messenger ﷺ said: if a man enters his home and he mentioned Allahs name upon his entrance and before he ate, Shaithaan says to his companions, there is no home nor food for you here.
From the means of attaining barakah in a home is to give sadaqah ........especially secret sadaqah because it extinguishes the anger of Allah.
‎*4-صلة الرحم*:
*Maintaining family ties*
And indeed our messenger ﷺ has informed us that maintaining family ties, and observing good character.....
increases our sustenance and our lives
5-*Waking up early to search for your rizq*
‎جاء في الحديث  (بورك لأمتي في بكورها) أي الخروج لطلب الرزق باكرا" .
It is mentioned in a Hadith
( Give glad tidings to my ummah in the early parts of the day)
Which means - those who leave their homes to search for their rizq in the early parts of the morning.
‎*6-إقامة الصلاة*:
*Establishing salaah on its fixed time is a means of attaining barakah*
‎، قال الله تعالى
‎«وأمر أهلك بالصلاة واصطبر عليها لا نسألك رزقا "نحن نرزقك والعاقبة للتقوى»
And enjoin As-Salat (the prayer) on your family, and be patient in offering them
[i.e. the Salat (prayers)].
We ask not of you a provision , We provide for you. And the good end (i.e. Paradise) is for the Muttaqun .
‎*7-التوكل على الله حق توكله* :
*Putting our trust in Allah as he should be trusted*
As is mentioned in a Hadith
‎«لو توكلتم على الله حق توكله لرزقكم كما يرزق الطير، تغدو خماصا"وتروح بطانا"»
If you trust Allah as he should be trusted , he will sustain you as he provides for the birds, they leave hungry in search for food and return full.
*Seeking Repentance*
Making lots of Istighfaar.

‎والاستغفار بحد ذاته مصدر للرزق ،
And Istighfaar on its own is a means of Increasing our sustenance
‎كما قال نبينا صلى الله عليه وسلم
Just as Nabi ﷺ said:
Whoever makes Istighfaar Allah will make a way out of every difficult situation for him,
And he will ease his sorrow, and he will sustain him from where he perceives not.
‎«من لزم الاستغفار جعل الله له من كل ضيق مخرجا " ومن كل هم فرجا" ورزقه من حيث لا يحتسب»
‎متعنا الله وإيّاكم بالبركة والرضا
May Allah bless us with lots of barakah and contentment.
‎ان يك صوابا فمن الله، وإن يكن خطأ فمني ومن الشيطان)
‎بارك الله فيكم ونفع بِنَا جميع المسلمين

Why should I marry you?

A mother arranged for
her son to meet a girl, who was religious.

The young man and the girl were left to talk and ask each other questions.

The young man, being a gentleman that he was, allowed the lady to question him first.

The young girl asked the young man a lot of questions. She asked about his life, education, friends, family, his habits, hobbies, lifestyle, enjoyment, pastime, experiences, his shoe size, etc.

The young man answered all of her questions calmly and politely, with smiles. The girl took up nearly all of the time and then asked the young man, "Do you have any question for me"?

The young man replied: “Its been a pleasure... I ONLY HAVE 3 QUESTIONS.”
The girl thought, 'WOW, ONLY 3 QUESTIONS!'

The young man's first question was:
"Who do you love the most in the world, someone whose love nothing would ever overcome?”
She replied: “This is an easy question, my mother obviously.” He smiled...

The second question:
“You said that you read a lot of Qura'an, could you tell me the meaning of one Surah you know?"
Hearing this, she went red with embarrassment and said: “I do not know the meaning of any yet, but I
am hoping to know soon, In Shaa Allah. I’ve been a bit busy.”

The third question was:
“I have been approached by many ladies for my hand in marriage; girls that are a lot prettier than you.
#So, why should I marry you???”

Hearing this, the young girl was outraged, she stormed off to her parents with fury, and said: “I do not want to marry this man as he has insulted my beauty, and

The young man and his parents were, once again, left without an agreement of marriage!

This time, the young man’s parents were really angry, and said, “what did you do to anger that girl, the family  is of noble repute, and
pleasant, and they are religious like you wanted. What did you ask the girl?"

The young man replied: “First, I asked her who she loves the most? She said her mother!

His parents were astounded: “So what is wrong with that?”

The young man replied;
"A believer is he who loves Allah (SWT) and the Prophet more than anyone else in the world. If a woman loves Allah (SWT) and the Prophet more than anyone, she will LOVE ME and RESPECT ME and stay faithful to me because of that love, and fear of Allah. And we can share this love, because this love is greater than lust for beauty or other mundane things.

The young man continued: “The second question I asked was if she could tell me the meaning of any surah of her liking. And she said none, because she hasn’t had the time yet.

So I thought of that Hadith, ‘All humans are dead except for those who have knowledge’. She has lived
over 30 years and not found ANY time to seek knowledge. Why would I marry a woman, who does not know her rights and responsibilities? And what
will she teach my children, except how to be negligent, because a mother is the best of teachers for her children. And a woman who has no time for Allah will not have time for her husband and kids.”

The third question:  "I told her that a lot of girls, prettier than her had approached me for marriage, #Why should I choose her? That is why she got angry".

The young man’s parents remarked: "That is a horrible thing to say, why would you do such a thing? We are going back there to apologise.”

The young man retorted: “I said this on purpose, to test whether she could control her anger.

The Prophet said: "DO not get angry", "Do not get angry ", "Do not get angry " when asked the recipe to become pious; because anger is from Shaytaan.

If a woman cannot control her anger with a stranger she has just met and goes telling her parents all that happened between them, do you think she will be able to control it with her husband?"

Golden rules...

*1. "Fa Tabayyanu":* Investigate: when you receive any information, lest you harm people out of ignorance.

*2. "Fa Aslihu"* Make settlement: between your brothers.

*3. "Wa Aqsitu":* Act justly: whenever there is a dispute try for settlement and act justly among both parties as Allah loves those who act justly.

*4. "La Yaskhar":* Don't ridicule people, perhaps they may be better than you with Allah.

*5. "Wa La Talamizu":* Do not insult one another.

*6. "Wa La Tanabazu":* Do not call each other with offensive nicknames.

*7. "Ijtanibu Kaseeran minaz-Zan":* Avoid negative assumptions, indeed some of the assumptions are sins.

*8. "Wa La Tajassasu"* :  Do not spy on each other

*9. "Wa La Yagtab":* Do not backbite each other. Its a major sin equivalent to eating your dead brother's flesh.

May Allah Ta alaa give us tawfiq to act. Ameen

Blessing of tears...

Hazrat Sheikh Ahmad Hawāri رحمه الله was referred to as "the Flower of the Land of Shaam." It has been mentioned that once in a dream, he saw a beautiful damsel from Jannah. Her face was exceptionally radiant. Hazrat Sheikh Ahmad Hawāri رحمه الله said to her: "O Damsel! Your face is wonderfully radiant." She replied: "O Ahmad! The glitter (Noor) on my face is the effect of the tears you had shed on a certain night. I rubbed those tears on my face, hence this radiance."

My account, your account...

Imagine that you are standing on the day of Judgment being held accountable for your deeds, and you're not guaranteed your entry to Jannah.
*Suddenly you find that you have mountains of Hasanat (rewards) in your record*
Do you know from where these mountains of rewards come from?
Because in the Dunya you kept saying : *”SubhanAllah wa bihamdihi Subhan Allahi al ‘Azeem”*
_Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:_ *"Two words are light on the tongue, weigh heavily in the balance, they are loved by Al Rahman, (The Most Merciful. One):*
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ وَ بِحَمْدِهِ ، سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ الْعَظِيمِ - *SubhanAllahi wa biHamdihi, Subhan-Allahi al Azeem (Glory be to Allah, and Praise, Glory be to Allah, the Supreme)"*
(Bukhari , Muslim)

Illusion of reflection...

Once there was a king who had presented his daughter, the princess, with a beautiful diamond necklace. The necklace was stolen and his people in the kingdom searched everywhere but could not find it. The king put up a reward for $50,000 for anyone who found it.

One day a clerk was walking home along a river next to an industrial area. This river was completely polluted, filthy and smelly. As he was walking, the clerk saw a shimmering in the river and when he looked, he saw the diamond necklace. He decided to try and catch it so that he could get the $50,000 reward.

He put his hand in the filthy, dirty river and grabbed at the necklace, but some how missed it and didn't catch it. He took his hand out and looked again and the necklace was still there. He tried again, this time he walked in the river and dirtied his pants in the filthy river and put his whole arm in to catch the necklace. But strangely, he still missed the necklace!

Secrets behind praying in time....

Rasulullah SAW said:

The deeds that are most beloved by Allah SWT are offering prayer at its proper time, kindness to parents. and jihad in the way of Allah SWT.

[Kanzul Ummal, Volume 7, hadith 18897)

The transitions of prayer times actually coincide with the change in energy of the universe which may be measured and felt through changes in its colours. The following are several findings from academics in their respective fields (eg. health, psychology and others).

The Secrets Behind Praying On Time

1.) FAJR

Those who are still deep asleep during Fajr will face issues in provision and communication, for the thyroid is unable to absorb the blue energy of the universe.

The universe is in the blue spectrum which is compatible with the frequency of the thyroid gland. In Physiology, the thyroid has control over the body’s metabolic system. The color blue is also tied to provision (rizq) and communication methods. During the Fajr athan, the energy of the universe is at its optimum. This energy is then absorbed by our bodies especially when performing ruku’ and sujood.

Those who frequently miss Dhuhr prayer will face digestion and mood problems.

The universe turns yellow, which influences the stomach and the entire digestive system. This colour also affects the liver and the cheerfulness of a person.

3.) ASR

One who keeps missing Asr prayer will have lower levels of creativity.

The universe changes colour again into orange. This is significant in the influence upon organs such as the prostate, ovary and testicle which are parts of the overall reproductive system. In fact, the reproductive organs lose positive energy. The orange in the universe also affects one’s creativity.

4.) Maghrib

At the time of Maghrib, the spectrum of the universe is at level with the frequency of the Jinns and Iblees.

The universe changes red. Often we hear the elders’ advice not to be outside of the house during this time. There is truth to the prohibition, for the jinns and iblees are energetic as they vibrate with the universe.

Those who are traveling are recommended to stop over to pray Maghrib first. This is safer for there are many disturbances occurring. There may be interference of two or more waves with similar frequencies, producing mirages that may disrupt our vision.

5.) Isha

Those who often miss Isha prayers will tend to feel anxious.

The universe becomes indigo and then transforms into darkness. The time of Isha has the secret of tranquility and contentment, and its frequency is harmonious with the brain and nervous system.

This is why when the skies become dark, we are recommended to rest. By sleeping during this time, the consciousness is at a delta wave with frequency under 4Hz and the whole body system is under rest.

6.) Tahajjud

When performed routinely, there would be benefits psychologically and mentally.

After midnight, the universe begins to brighten again with whites, pinks and purples. This colour change is in alignment with the pineal gland, pituitary gland, thalamus and hypothalamus (glands and organs that significantly affect the brain).

The factors of the energy of the universe are the basis of meditative activities such as taichi, qi-gon and others. These are done to take in the energies into the body. So when praying, we inadvertently absorb the energy from the universe.

Please help us spread the good knowledge by sharing this article with your friends and family!

Why should I bow...

All acts of devotion have been prescribed by our Creator Allah Ta’ala for our benefit; sometimes the benefits are quite apparent while occasionally it is not so obvious.

A Musallee (Mosque go-er) wrote a letter to the editor of a newspaper and complained that it made no sense to go to Mosque. "I've gone for 30 years now," he wrote, "and in that time I have heard something like 3,000 lectures. But for the life of me, I can't remember a single one of them. So, I think I'm wasting my time and the Imams are wasting theirs by giving lectures at all."

This started a real controversy in the "Letters to the Editor" column, much to the delight of the editor. It went on for weeks until someone wrote this clincher.

"I've been married for 30 years now. In that time my wife has cooked some 32,000 meals. But for the life of me, I cannot recall the entire menu and ingredients for a single one of those meals. But I do know this: They all nourished me and gave me the strength I needed to do my work. If my wife had not given me these meals, I would be physically dead today. Likewise, if I had not gone to Mosque for nourishment, I would be spiritually dead today!"… Thereafter no further comments were received by the editor.

The medication prescribed by a doctor has its benefits even though we don’t know its ingredients! Having precise knowledge on how an act of devotion benefits us is not always so important. What is important is that we carry out our duties and obligations to our Creator who no doubt has in His Infinite Wisdom created such acts of devotion for our benefit in this temporary life as well as for our eternal journey to the hereafter!

Allah Ta’ala says: “I did not create jinn and men except that they may worship Me.” (Qur'an: Adh-Dhariyat 51:56).

Dont worry, be happy

1. Seek the pleasure of Allah – nothing can make us happier than seeking the pleasure of Allah. Whether we are out, at work, in our homes or on holiday, never forget to make time to connect to Allah.
2. Be grateful – The more grateful we are to have the things we have, the more Allah will shower us with His bounties. Appreciation of what Allah has blessed us with is vital.
*“If you express gratitude, I shall certainly give you more, and if you are ungrateful, then My punishment is severe.”[Ibrahim: V7]*

Rasulullaah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) said that no person will be able to take a step on the Day of Qiyaamah without answering five questions;

(1) about his life and how he spent it,

(3) about how he earned his wealth,

A friend in need....

He called his friend; And told him: "I'm in need of money, my mom is sick and I have no money for her treatment."
His friend said: " Alright my dear friend, just call me later after ASR SALAAH ."

He called him after ASR SALAAH but his phone
was switched off. He kept calling over and over
again, until he got tired. And went to search for another
friend who can help him with the treatment fee.

But he couldn't find anyone who can help. He returned back to home and found a bag of medications near his mother's pillow and she
was sleeping. He asked his brother, the brother told
him:" your friend came and collected the prescriptions and brought these medicines, he just went out not long ago". He smiled and with tears in his eyes he went out to look for his
friend, and when he found him; he asked him :" where
have u been, I have been calling you since after ASR SALAAH but ur phone was switched off..?"

The Jewish beggar

In the corner of the marketplace of Madinah, was a blind Jewish beggar, who would cry out daily to all those who came near him,
"O my brothers, don't go near Muhammad He's a lunatic, he's a liar, a sorcerer!
If you are to be close to him, you will be influenced by him!"
