Today's Beautiful Hadith is about being Grateful

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: Look at those who stand at a lower level than you but don't look at those who stand at a higher level than you, for this would make the favours (conferred upon you by Allah) insignificant (in your eyes). Abu Mu'awiya said: Upon you. (Sahih Muslim Book 42, Hadith 7070)

This Hadith is incredibly important in current times. In times where we always want more, this beautiful message educates us that when we want more and think we deserve more and life isn't fair, then look at the people who stand lower than us. People who don't have what we have, people who would love to have what we have. Alhamdulillah. Be grateful to Allah...

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Allah's Mercy

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) having said: By Him in Whose Hand is my life, if you were not to commit sin, Allah would sweep you out of existence and He would replace (you by) those people who would commit sin and seek forgiveness from Allah, and He would have pardoned them.

*DEVIL EATS AND DRINKS WITH HIS LEFT HAND*

Ibne Umar R.A narrates that Rasulullāh ﷺ has said that: "One of you should neither eat with his left hand, nor should he drink with it, as Shaytān eats with his left hand and drinks with it."

_[Muslim]_

*EXPLANATION:*
*1.* Shaytān in reality uses his left hand to eat and drink.

*2.* Shaytān encourages those who follow him, to eat and drink with their left hands.

*3.* Majority of the Ulama say that it is *Sunnah* to use the right hand to eat and drink. Some ulama say it is *Wājib [compulsory].*

🔹Her hair was done earlier in the day at a leading salon at the mall. She had her hair cut in short layers and coloured dark brown with blonde highlights to match her nude coloured dress. Her eyebrows neatly plucked and shaped in a trendy new tick form. Her legs waxed and smooth as she knew well that her mini dress exposed her beautiful long legs.

🔹The dress was designed by her favourite Ralph Lauren,it was just the way she wanted it, perfectly tight showing off her figure and exposing her fit body. She looked at herself in the full lenght mirror,a smile forming on her doll like face, she was so pleased with herself. Her reflection gave her validation and a sense of accomplishment.
_She slipped into her pink Jimmy choo heals, grabbed her Versace handbag and the keys to her Audi before kissing her husband and kids good night and leaving with her friends for a girl’s night out._

After an eventful night of partying and intermingling with friends and acquaintances, after getting pecked on the cheek and hugged by males she did not even know, after getting a million compliments from strangers, after dancing to her favourite songs and sipping on her favourite cocktails *she decided to end the party by driving to the beach to watch the sunrise. She did not live to see another sunrise…She crashed into a truck as she lost control of her car due to being under the influence of alcohol.*

🔹 _Her sisters are in tears as they cut her tight fitting dress out of her bruised body during her ghusl._

🔹 *Her mother cries silently as she watches the ladies carefully remove the make up and wash her daughters lifeless body which reeked of perfume and alcohol.*

🔹Her fancy hair which was cut and washed at a renowned salon was now being washed for the last time by her relatives.

🔹Her fit body which she only used the best and most fragrant shower gels and lotions on is now being washed with cheap fragrant free green soap and water.

🔹Her expensive jewellery, her designer dress, her immaculately applied makeup, her high heels, her fancy hair cut and her fit body…now washed by relatives on a cold steel bath and wrapped in a plain white kafan.Covered from head to toe.

🔹 *She was a mother,a wife,a sister,a daughter and a Muslimah.She was..now she is just ‘the body’.*

_*This is the harsh reality of the temporary world we live in.Our mothers, our sisters, our aunties, our daughters even our grannies are becoming victims of this selfie life.*_

Reaching Allah Ta‘ala Quickly

Hazrat Moulana Yunus Patel Saheb (rahimahullah) once mentioned:
The reward that a women receives for exercising patience over her difficulties in managing the home and fulfilling the rights of her husband and children is sometimes so great that it makes her ‘reach’ Allah Ta‘ala very quickly. This, however, is conditional to her obedience to Allah Ta‘ala; fulfilling His rights, the rights of His Rasul (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam), and the rights of His creation.
Women who have a number of children and sometimes even a temperamental husband, together with many household chores and other responsibilities, often think that they cannot achieve the ranks of the special friends of Allah Ta‘ala because they do not have time for ‘wazeefahs’ and nawaafil (optional prayers).
I tell them that they need not worry about too many wazeefahs. The most important ‘wazeefah’ is abstinence from all sins. Added to this, they should just correct their niyyah (intention) in all that they are doing as routine housework. When they make the intention of pleasing Allah Ta‘ala, then that very same housework becomes ‘ibaadah. In this simple way, they will easily secure great rewards and the same spiritual stages, if not higher.

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about the Prophet

Sa'eed Jariri (RA) says: "I heard Abu Tufayl (RA) say: "There is no one left on the face of this Earth, besides me who had seen Rasulullah (Sallallahu alaihe wasallam)." I asked him to describe to me the noble features of Rasulullah. He said: "Rasulullah had a white complexion, which was slightly reddish, and had a medium sized body."

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Divorce

Amr ibn Muhajir reported on the authority of his father: Asma', daughter of Yazid ibn as-Sakan al-Ansariyyah, was divorced in the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). No waiting period was prescribed for a divorced woman (at that time). When Asma' was divorced, Allah, the Exalted, sent down the injunction of waiting period for divorce. She is the first of the divorced women about whom the verse relating to waiting period was sent down.
(Sunan Abi Dawud, Book 13, Hadith 107)

Fate

Sometimes some things are written in your fate. No matter how hard you may try to change them, they never change...

The crow and the parrot were both created ugly. The parrot protested and was made beautiful. However, the crow remained content with the will of its CREATOR. Today the parrot is in a cage and the crow flies free...

Behind each incident is so exquisite a wisdom that maybe you will never understand it.

Therefore ...

Never ask "Why?" to the CREATOR.

Nine things will give you benefits everyday:

1/ تريد السعاده = صل الصلاة في وقتها.
1/If you seek happiness: Offer namaz on time.

2/ If you want light on your face:
Rise up for tahajjud in the night.

3/If you want tranquility and peace: Recite the Qur'an slowly and carefully.

4/If you seek health: Fast

5/If you seek inner joy: Keep on with repentance.

6/If you want to be free from sorrow: Keep on praying.

7/If you want violence to disappear, say: La hawla wa lâ quwwata illa billah.

8/If you seek abundance:
Recite praises and greetings (durood) to the Holy Prophet (S.A.W) and his virtuous family and companions.

9/If you wish to do goodness without getting tired: Do not keep this message to yourself. Let your loved ones benefit from this too.

ALLAH (SWT) is with those who are with HIM & consider HIS Commandments.

ALLAH (SWT) loves those who love HIM.

Always recite the Ayat al Kursiyy after prayers

Note: Never hide any knowledge for which you will be rewarded with goodness and auspiciousness.

🍀Let this knowledge move around the world.

Dua for protection from evil eye

Hadith on charity

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Every day in which a servant awakens there are two angels that descend upon him. One angel says: O Allah, give to the one who spends in charity. The other angel says: O Allah, bring destruction upon the one who withholds.”

Source: Sahih Bukhari 1374, Sahih Muslim 1010

Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi (authenticity agreed upon) according to Al-Bukhari and Muslim

KEYS TO SUCCESS

Always remember these FOUR (4)  IN THIS LIFE AND THE HEREAFTER.
1. SABR:
Patience, steadfastness, …endurance and accepting what Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) has destined for you. This will make you strong to face more hardship and will give you rewards in this life by lifting your troubles and with many goodness in the next life.
2. SHUKR:
Gratefulness, thankful to Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) for everything, feeling content with what Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) has given you. This will make you feel rich even if you don’t have a thing and it will get you rewarded here by increasing your blessings here and in the hereafter.
3. TAQWA:
Piousness, righteousness, good character, doing what is prescribed and keeping away from forbidden deeds. This will make you loved by Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) , His angels and mankind and you will be rewarded in this life by always having a way out in this life and with Jannah.
4. TAWAKKUL:
Putting your total trust in Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) , leaving your affairs in His hands, realising that everything goes as He has planned. This will give you peace of mind and heart.
May Allah (SWT) make us succeed always. Ameen

HARMS OF SPREADING RUMOURS

Once an old man spread rumors that his neighbor was a thief without verifying the facts. As a result, the young man was arrested.
Days later the young man was proven innocent. After being released he sued the old man for wrongly accusing him.
In the court the old man told the Judge: “They were just comments, I didn’t intend to harm anyone. I was just trying to warn people."
The judge told the old man: “Write all the things you said about him on a piece of paper. Cut them up and on the way home, throw the pieces of paper out. Tomorrow, come back to hear the sentence.”
Next day, the judge told the old man: “Before receiving the sentence, you will have to go out and gather all the pieces of paper that you threw out yesterday.”
The old man said: “I can’t do that! The wind spread them and I won’t know where to find them.”
The judge then replied: “In the same way, seemingly innocuous yet untrue comments may destroy the honour of a man to such an extent that one is not able to fix it. If you can’t speak well of someone, rather don’t say anything.”
*Moral of the story*:
Let’s all be masters of our mouths, so that we won’t be slaves of our words.

Turner of hearts...

Slightly long but worth every word.....

Last year I had gotten to visit the city of the prophet sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam.  A close friend who was studying there wanted to take me to one of his teachers.  His teacher was not famous, there were surely scholars in the blessed city of Medinah who were more famous than him.  But he had a title that he wore proudly, "Al-Murabbi", meaning someone who nurtured and developed others.  And that he did ma sha Allah.

And so we went.  We prayed Jumu'ah and then we went to the side of town that the shaykh's office was.  He had a habit, I was informed, after Jumu'ah his office is open for all who wish to attend.  He gives a reminder and then he feeds all who are present out of his own pocket.  Every week he does this.

We entered into a large Arab style living room.  We sat on couches that had headrests with little slots in them from where tissue paper peeked out.  I remember thinking that was ingenious.  The shaykh was speaking, and everyone who entered quietly would come and find a seat.  Upon doing so, they would immediately be served by someone offering them Saudi coffee and dates, all the while everyone's eyes where gazing at the shaykh, their ears and hearts attentive.

The Shaykh had been building up to a point in his short talk masterfully and then said, "I want everyone here to pay attention to what I am about to say.  Those of you who have the ability to memorize, memorize this.  Those who cannot, please write this down." Immediately cell phones began emerging from pockets as people prepared to write down what he said.

I am sharing this entire story just to tell you what he said.  I haven't forgotten it since.  Are you ready to write it down?

The shaykh then said, "  إن قلب من إ لتفت إليه بيد من أعرضت عنه "

"The heart of the one you turn to, is in the Hand of the One you turn away from."

That was it.  And that was the lesson of a lifetime. How many things in a day do we request of other people?  How many things in our life are waiting for someone else to say "yes" to? From visas  to job promotions, from vacation days to marriage proposals.  And for these things we submit applications and requests, we persuade, argue and try to maneuver hearts as best we can.

But every heart that you ever turn to, every heart that you try to persuade for *anything*, big or small, seemingly insignificant or life changing.. is all in the control of the One you turn away from.

And so if you ask..Ask Allah...

And if you seek the help of anyone..Seek the help of Allah...

*SOME DAY & ONE DAY*

_LOVELY..... A MUST READ!_

_A friend of mine opened his wife's wardrobe and picked up a silk paper wrapped package._

_"This," he said, "isn't any ordinary package."_

_He unwrapped the box and stared at both the silk paper and the box and silk satin dresses inside._

_"She got this the first time we went to New York , 8 or 9 years ago. She has never put it on , was saving it for a special occasion. Well, I guess this is it."_

_He got near the bed and placed the gift box next to the other clothing he was taking to the funeral house, his wife had just died._

_He turned to me and said, "never save something for a 'special occasion'. Every day in your life is a *'Special occasion'"*_

_I still think those words changed my life._

_Now I read more and clean less._

_I sit on the porch without worrying about anything._

_I spend more time with my family, and less at work._

*_I understood that life should be a source of experience to be lived up to, not survived through._*

_I no longer keep anything._

_I use crystal glasses every day._

_I'll wear new clothes to go to the supermarket, if I feel like it._

*_I don't save my special perfume for special occasions, I use it whenever I want to._*

_The words *'Someday....' and ' One Day...'*are fading away from my dictionary._

_If it's worth seeing, listening or doing, I want to see, listen or do it now._

_I don't know what my friend's wife would have done if she knew she wouldn't be there the next morning, this nobody can tell._

_*Each day, each hour, each minute, is special.*_

_Live for today, for tomorrow is promised to no-one._

_If you're too busy to send this out to other people and you say to yourself that you will send it 'LATER remember that LATER might never come.....*

Surah Al Isra’, Verse 19

{19. And whoever desires the Hereafter and strives for it, with the necessary effort due for it while he is a believer, then such are the ones whose striving shall be appreciated, (rewarded by Allah).}

meaning, whoever wants the Hereafter, its blessings and its delights, and strives for it the right way, that is by following the Messenger (saw), while his heart has faith, i.e., he believes in the reward and punishment, then such are the ones who are rewarded by Allah (SWT).

Surah Al-Isra’, Verse 18

{18. Whoever desires the quick-passing (transitory enjoyment of this world), We readily grant him what We will for whom We intend. Then, afterwards, We have appointed for him Hell; he will burn therein disgraced and rejected.}

Allah (SWT)  tells us that not everyone who desires this world and its luxuries gets what he wants. That is attained by those whom Allah (SWT) wants to have it, and they get what He wills that they should get.

{he will burn therein} meaning, he will enter Hell until it covers him on all sides,

{rejected} meaning, far away from Allah's (SWT)  mercy, humiliated and put to shame.

Surah Al-Isra', Verse 17

{17. And how many generations have We destroyed after Nuh(AS)! And sufficient is your Lord as All-Knower and Seer of the sins of His servants.}

Allah (SWT) warns the people of Quraysh who disbelieved, that He destroyed other nations who came after Nuh (as) that rejected their Messengers. This indicates that during the centuries between Adam (as) and Nuh (as), people were following Islam. Ibn `Abbas ( RA) said: "Between Adam (AS) and Nuh (AS) there were ten  generations, during all of which humans were following Islam.’'

The meaning of the above verse is: "You disbelievers are not more dear to Allah (SWT)  than they were, and you have rejected the most noble of the Messengers and the best of creation, so you are more deserving of punishment.’'

{And sufficient is your Lord as All-Knower and Seer of the sins of His servants} means, He knows everything they do, good and evil, and nothing at all is hidden from Him, may He be glorified and exalted.

Surah Al-Isra’, Verse 16

{16. And when We intend to destroy a city, We command its affluent [people] but they defiantly disobey therein; so the word [of punishment] comes into effect upon it, and We destroy it with [complete] destruction.}

Surah Al-Isra’, Verse 15

{15. Whoever is guided is only guided for the benefit of himself. And whoever goes astray, then he goes astray at his own loss. And no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. And We never punish until We have sent a Messenger (to give a warning).}

Allah (SWT) tells us that whoever follows the truth, he will gain the good consequences of that for himself.

And whoever deviates from the way of guidance, he is wronging himself and will have to bear the consequences.

Then Allah (SWT) says that no one will have to bear the sins of another, and he does not wrong anyone besides himself.

There is no contradiction between this verse and:
{And verily, they shall bear their own loads, and other loads besides their own} [29:13] and:

{and also of the burdens of those whom they misled without knowledge} [16:25] For those who called others to do evil will bear the sin of their own deviation as well as the sin of those whom they led astray, without detracting the least amount from the burden of those people, and none of this burden shall be removed from them. This is the justice and mercy of Allah (SWT)  towards His servants.

As Allah (SWT)  says:
{And We never punish until We have sent a Messenger (to give warning).}

Surah Al-Isra’, Verses 13-14

{13. And We have fastened every man's Ta'irah (deeds) to his neck, and on the Day of Resurrection, We shall bring out for him a Book which he will find wide open. 14. (It will be said to him): "Read your Book. You yourself are sufficient as a reckoner against you this Day.’'}

{And We have fastened every man's Ta'irah (deeds) to his neck} The neck is mentioned because it is a part of the body that when one is restrained by it, he has no escape.

The word Ta'irah (lit. something that flies) refers to man's deeds which fly from him. It includes both good deeds and bad deeds, he will be forced to acknowledge them and will be rewarded or punished accordingly.

Allah (SWT) says in another verse:
{So whosoever does good equal to the weight of a speck of dust shall see it. And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of a speck of dust shall see it.}(99:7-8).

And in another verse:
{(Remember) that the two receivers (recording angels) receive (each human being), one sitting on the right and one on the left (to note his or her actions). Not a word does he (or she) utter but there is a watcher by him ready (to record it)}(50:17-18)

{and on the Day of Resurrection, We shall bring out for him a Book} meaning, `We will collect all of his deeds for him in a Book which will be given to him on the Day of Resurrection, either in his right hand, if he is one of the blessed, or in his left hand if he is one of the wretched.'

{which he will find wide open} means, the book will be open for him and others to read all of his deeds, from the beginning of his life until the end.

{(It will be said to him): "Read your Book. You yourself are sufficient as a reckoner against you this Day.''} meaning, you have not been treated unjustly and nothing has been recorded against you except what you have done, because you remember everything that you have done, and no one will forget anything that he did. Surah Al Isra’, Verse 12

{12. And We have made the night and day two signs, and We erased the sign of the night and made the sign of the day visible that you may seek bounty from your Lord and may know the number of years and the account [of time]. And everything We have set out in detail.}

Allah (SWT) reminds us of the great signs that He created, including the alternation of the night and day, so that people may rest at night, and go out and work during the day to earn a living.
