The broken packet
Sheikh Alaa Elsayed wrote:
The Broken Packet...
Are we collecting our good deeds in a broken packet?!
Beware of the broken packet..,
You make the best wudhu but waste a lot of water ( a broken packet)
You give alot of sadaqah to the poor , but you humiliate them and hurt them ( a broken packet)
You stand up for tahajjud, fast, and obey your Lord , but you cut your family ties and stop connecting with them. (broken packet)
You fast and have sabr for the pangs of hunger and thirst , but you swear , insult, curse ( broken packet)
You wear abaya and scarf, but your perfume is strong and it is forbidden! (broken packet)
You have time for family and friends,
But you have no time for your neighbours, you don't even know them. ( broken packet)
You honour and are good to your guest ,
but when he leaves .....you gossip about him and talk about all his flaws (broken packet )
Do not gather all your good deeds in a broken packet. You struggle to fill it whilst it easily runs out on the other side!
A thought provoking post by the Sheikh. So How do we keep the packet whole? We need to work on our intentions, on our interactions with others, on improving our character and to work hard to please our Creator. May the Almighty be pleased with us as we strive to please on Him, Most Merciful, Aameen❤️❤️

virtues of Surah Al Kahf
Some of the virtues of Surah Al Kahf which was revealed in Makkah.
Imam Ahmad recorded: "A man recited Al-Kahf and there was an animal in the house which began acting in a nervous manner. He looked up and saw a fog or cloud overhead. He mentioned this to the Prophet (saw) who said:
اقْرَأْ فُلَانُ، فَإِنَّهَا السَّكِينَةُ تَنْزِلُ عِنْدَ الْقُرْآنِ أَوْ تَنَزَّلَتْ لِلْقُرْآن
"Keep on reciting so and so, for this is the tranquillity which descends when one reads Qur'an or because of reading Qur'an"
This was also recorded in Bukhari and Muslim.
Imam Ahmad recorded that the Prophet (saw) said:
مَنْ حَفِظَ عَشْرَ آيَاتٍ مِنْ أَوَّلِ سُورَةِ الْكَهْفِ عُصِمَ مِنَ الدَّجَّال
"Whoever memorizes ten Ayat from the beginning of Surah Al-Kahf will be protected from Dajjal."
According to the version recorded by At-Tirmidhi,
مَنْ حَفِظَ ثَلَاثَ آيَاتٍ مِنْ أَوَّلِ الْكَهْف
"Whoever memorizes three Ayat from the beginning of Al-Kahf."
The Prophet (saw) said:
مَنْ قَرَأَ سُورَةَ الْكَهْفِ فِي يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ أَضَاءَ لَهُ مِنَ النُّورِ مَا بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْجُمُعَتَيْن
"Whoever recites Surah Al-Kahf on Friday, it will illuminate him with light from one Friday to the next."
The Prophet (saw) said:
مَنْ قَرَأَ سُورَةَ الْكَهْفِ كَمَا نَزَلَتْ، كَانَتْ لَهُ نُورًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَة
"Whoever recites Surah Al-Kahf as it was revealed, it will be a light for him on the Day of Resurrection."

Tonight
By Naadira Chhipa
Tonight as the sun sets and by the flick of a switch your homes become illuminated and warm say Alhamdullilah as there are millions of people living in darkness or by the light of a flickering candle.
Tonight as you enjoy a warm meal and delicious hot drinks take five minutes to say Alhamdullilah for the delicious food and drinks you have as there are millions of people searching in filthy bins for anything edible.Their stomachs are aching as hunger pangs stab at their soul.
Tonight as you take a hot shower and get dressed into your favourite fluffy winter pyjamas take five minutes to say Alhamdullilah for the warm water and clothes you have as there are millions of people walking for miles just to get a bucket of cold water dressed in rags we would not even use to dust our furniture.
Tonight as you safely tuck your kids into bed and place that extra blanky to keep them snug and warm take five minutes to say Alhamdullilah as there are millions of parents out there crying tears of blood as their innocent little children lay helplessly on the sidewalk. They shiver and cry out in agony as the cold and hunger embrace their tiny bodies.
Tonight as you snuggle onto your warm bed take five minutes to say Alhamdullilah for the roof above your head as there are millions of people out there shivering under the cold night sky.
Tonight before you close your eyes and drift into a deep slumber take five minutes to remember and be grateful to Allah for everything you have, say Alhamdullilah also never forget to make sincere dua for the millions of people who are trying to survive tonight.

THE HONEST MILK-MAID
Khalifa Umar رضي الله عنه would walk around the city at night to see if everything and everyone was fine. He would try to solve problems if made aware of anything not right.
One night, he went in disguise as not to be recognized by the citizens. He was accompanied by his good friend, Ibn Abbas رضي الله عنه . As they made their way to all parts of the city, they finally reached a neighbourhood where very poor people lived. When he was walking by a very small house, he heard a mother telling her daughter to add water to the milk that they were going to sell so that they would have a greater quantity of milk. The daughter told her mother that although they did that prior to becoming Muslims, now that they were Muslim, they could no longer practice deceitful business dealings.
The mother again insisted that her daughter add water to the milk. The daughter replied, "No. The Khalifa said that we should not practice deceitful acts."
The mother said, "We are too poor. It is the only way we can earn enough money to provide for us. The Khalifa has forgotten us, and he won't know what we did."
The daughter said, "Such an income would not be lawful; as a Muslim I would not do anything whereby other Muslims are deceived."
The mother said, "But there is neither the Khalifa nor any of his officers here to see what we do.Daughter, go to bed now and tomorrow I will myself mix the milk with water for you."
The daughter refused to take part in the plan of her mother. She said, "The Khalifa may or may not be here, but his order must be obeyed. You may escape the notice of the Khalifa and his officers, but how can we escape the notice of Allah and our own conscience?" She also said, "Omar رضي الله عنه cannot see us but the Lord of Umar can see us." The daughter refused to take part in the
plan of her mother.
Thereupon the mother remained quiet. The lamp was extinguished and mother and daughter went to sleep.
Having heard all of this, Khalifa Umar. رضي الله عنه knew of the mother's plan. The next day, Khalifa Umar رضي الله عنه sent a man to buy milk from the woman. To his surprise, the milk didn't have any water added to it. The daughter knew right from wrong and was strong enough to hold her ground with her mother.
Khalifa Umar said to his friend, "The daughter stayed strong even when her mother wanted her to do something wrong. She deserves a reward. What reward should I give her?"
"She should be rewarded with some money," said lbn Abbas رضي الله عنه .
Khalifa Umar said, "A daughter like her would be a great wife for my son. Someday she would make a good mother , strong, honest, and a great role-model. Because she is so good, she should be given the greatest gift in the nation, and everyone in the nation should learn how to be good like her."
The Khalifa sent for the young woman and her mother to come to his court. The mother shivered because she was afraid when she stood before the mighty ruler, but the young woman stood boldly and without fear.
Then, in front of everyone, Khalifa Umar told how he had overheard the mother and daughter talking about adding water to the milk, and how the daughter had done what was right, even when her mother told her not to.
Someone said that the mother should be punished, but the Khalifa said that usually he would, but he had forgiven her because her daughter was so good. Then he turned to the daughter and said, "Islam needs daughters like you and as a Khalifa of Islam, it is my job to reward you. I would like to reward you by having you as my daughter."
Then the Khalifa called his sons and said to them, "Here is a wonderful young woman who would make a great wife and mother. I don't know a better bride than this girl who is so good." Abdullah رضي الله عنه and Abdur Rahman رضي الله عنه , the oldest sons of the Khalifa, were already married. Asim, the third son wasn't married yet, and he offered to marry the young woman. When the young woman and her mother agreed, Asim married her and the milkmaid became the daughter-in-law of the Khalifa.
From this union was born a daughter, Layla, who became in due course the mother of Omar bin Abdul Aziz, who became one of the most great and unique Khalif's of Islaam

Aim to please the extended family!
Aim to please the teachers!
Aim to please the lover!
Aim to please the inlaws!
Aim to please the employers!
Aim to please friends!
Aim to please the children!
In all the aims we have drilled into us.. We have forgotten...
Our main aim!
Our aim to please Allah!
In the darkness of the night...
The darkness envelopes me and I'm afraid of what beckons... The fear of what tomorrow holds, the fear of the reason behind the pain, the fear of not being able to meet commitments, the fear of making mistakes that I cant afford, the fear of making the wrong choices.
The darkness calls out to me....
Allah calls out to me ....
Beckoning me to him in the darkness of the night and I turn to Him knowing that everything will be ok, I will be ok, that whatever I will have to face in this undesirable duniya will be ok - I will not be alone, that Allah is always with me. People let you down, even loved ones.. But Allah never does.
How beautiful is His love that even when we let Him down, He is still with us, He still loves us. ... A love that is stronger than a mother to a child. A love that is stronger than a lover and his beloved.
Allahs love is unwavering and constant, Allahs love is deeper than the deepest depth of the ocean. Allahs power and might is unfathomable.
As easily as He turns darkness to light He can turn any situation from difficult to ease.
So lets embrace whatever tomorrow holds knowing our Allah is with us, helping us, guiding us, protecting us.

People in glass houses......
By Naadira Chhipa
Your daughter started wearing the niqaab Alhamdullilah and you are so proud of her yet this pride causes you to gossip, mock and comment on your niece who is struggling to wear her hijaab yet you have no idea that your daughter is chatting to 'friends' on facebook late into the night and sends pictures of herself to strange men..People in glass houses
Your son has recently been divorced and yet you named and shamed his wife for the breakdown of their marriage. After two weeks your cousin's son gets a divorce and you start calling up family to spread the news of divorce, commenting on how such a stunning wedding 'had to' end in divorce and insulting your cousin for her bad upbringing yet you could never accept that your daughter in law could not handle your son being a drug dealer hence they divorced.People in glass houses..
Your husband has had multiple affairs throughout the ten years of marriage and you knew about every one of them yet you never did leave as he showers you with all the material comforts your heart desires yet when your best friend suspects her husband of cheating you add fuel to the fire by slandering and making up stories about him being unfaithful to her.People in glass houses..
Your daughter in law confided in you about your son not assisting her in her daily chores around the house and you give her advice about him being 'the man' of the house and how it's not his duty yet the same afternoon your daughter complains to you about her husband never helping out with their three children and you lecture him for being an uncaring husband and father explaining to him that it is his duty to help his wife.People in glass houses..
People in glass houses should not throw stones....We should never throw stones of insult, gossip, lies and harsh comnents as we all have windows and if we all start throwing stones we would have to seal those windows which will ultimately lead to no sunshine or air coming into our lives hence a prison of our own minds.
We should rather stop peeping into the windows of our relatives, friends and neighbours lives and instead start cleaning our own windows as the dirt you are highlighting in their lives could just be a reflection of your own.
May Allah safeguard us from always looking to find fault in others and highlighting those faults yet ignoring and covering up our own and instead give us the ability to introspect and fix our own faults while trying to cover the faults of others.Ameen.

*Power of Istighfaar.*
For all our problems recite Istighfaar abundantly.
A man once came to al-Hasan al-Basri and complained to him: “The sky does not shower us with rain.” He replied: “Seek Allah’s forgiveness (i.e. say أستغفر ألله).”
Then another person came to him and said, “I complain of poverty.” He replied: “Seek Allah’s forgiveness.”
Then another person came to him and complained, “My wife is barren; she cannot bear children.” He replied: “Seek Allah’s forgiveness.”
The people who were present, said to al-Hasan: “Everytime a person came to you complaining, you instructed them to seek Allah’s forgiveness?”
Al-Hasan al-Basri said, “Have you not read the statement of Allah?
“Ask forgiveness of your Lord. Truly He is Oft-Forgiving. He will send rain to you in abundance; increase you in wealth and children; grant you gardens and bestow on you rivers.”‘” [Nuh (71):10-12]

*Means of attaining barakah in our homes*
*Barakah* a word we hear often but sadly we have lost it in our homes, so we find no barakah in time, nor in sustenance or our wealth and children, so what then is the key to barakah.
*🔑There are 8 keys to attaining barakah* :
*1-Tilaawah of the Quraan *:
قال الله تعالى
(وهذا كتاب أنزلناه مبارك)
Allah has made the Quraan al Kareem a source of barakah, if we ponder over its meaning and we live our lives according to its teachings . And for this reason our beloved messenger ﷺ said about the home in which Quraan is recited.
(تسكنه الملائكة تهجره الشياطين ويتسع بأهله ويكثر خيره).
The malaaikahs live in it, the shaithaans flee from it and it expands for the family and goodness increases in it.
*2-البسملة وذكر الله*:
*Saying bismillah and making the zikr of Allah*
قال رسول الله صل الله عليه وسلم
إذا دخل الرجل بيته فذكر الله تعالى عند دخوله وعند طعامه، قال الشيطان لأصحابه لا مبيت ولا عشاء
The messenger ﷺ said: if a man enters his home and he mentioned Allahs name upon his entrance and before he ate, Shaithaan says to his companions, there is no home nor food for you here.
*3-الصدقة*:
*Sadaqah*
From the means of attaining barakah in a home is to give sadaqah (charity)........especially secret sadaqah because it extinguishes the anger of Allah.
*4-صلة الرحم*:
*Maintaining family ties*
And indeed our messenger ﷺ has informed us that maintaining family ties, and observing good character.....
increases our sustenance and our lives
5- *Waking up early to search for your rizq*
جاء في الحديث (بورك لأمتي في بكورها) أي الخروج لطلب الرزق باكرا" .
It is mentioned in a Hadith
( Give glad tidings to my ummah in the early parts of the day)
Which means - those who leave their homes to search for their rizq in the early parts of the morning.
*6-إقامة الصلاة*:
*Establishing salaah on its fixed time is a means of attaining barakah*
، قال الله تعالى
«وأمر أهلك بالصلاة واصطبر عليها لا نسألك رزقا "نحن نرزقك والعاقبة للتقوى»
And enjoin As-Salat (the prayer) on your family, and be patient in offering them
[i.e. the Salat (prayers)].
We ask not of you a provision , We provide for you. And the good end (i.e. Paradise) is for the Muttaqun .
*7-التوكل على الله حق توكله* :
*Putting our trust in Allah as he should be trusted*
As is mentioned in a Hadith
«لو توكلتم على الله حق توكله لرزقكم كما يرزق الطير، تغدو خماصا"وتروح بطانا"»
If you trust Allah as he should be trusted , he will sustain you as he provides for the birds, they leave hungry in search for food and return full.
*8-الاستغفار*:
*Seeking Repentance*
Making lots of Istighfaar.
والاستغفار بحد ذاته مصدر للرزق ،
And Istighfaar (repentance) on its own is a means of Increasing our sustenance
كما قال نبينا صلى الله عليه وسلم
Just as Nabi ﷺ said:
Whoever makes Istighfaar (repents) Allah will make a way out of every difficult situation for him,
And he will ease his sorrow, and he will sustain him from where he perceives not.
«من لزم الاستغفار جعل الله له من كل ضيق مخرجا " ومن كل هم فرجا" ورزقه من حيث لا يحتسب»
متعنا الله وإيّاكم بالبركة والرضا
May Allah bless us with lots of barakah and contentment.

The Three Types of Sabr
🌹 *Reflections*
From ❤Libasut Taqwa
*The Three Types of Sabr*
*PART 1*
This is a very comprehensive topic but Inshaa'ALLAH we will try to explain it bit by bit. This is going to help you in all your acts of Ibadah and your day-to-day lifestyles inshaa'ALLAH
We begin by praising ALLAH ♥ and Durood upon Nabi-e-Kareem SAW.
*ALHAMDULILLAHI RABBIL 'AALAMEEN..*
And With the permission of ALLAH ♥SUBHANAHU WATA'ALA
Maashaa'ALLAH If we look at Sabr, it is such a beautiful action of Islam and AlhumduLILLAH at
❤Libasut Taqwa we want to change the face of *SABR (patience)*
We are going to present Sabr to you in such a manner that you are not going to complain anymore inshaa'ALLAH, because Sabr can be very beautiful...SUBHANALLAH.
Whenever we speak about Sabrun Jameel, our imagination takes us right to Hazrat Yaqub (AS) SUBHANALLAH..How much tests and trials did he undergo! BUT He practised true Sabr.
Patience is the key that unlocks the door to peace and serenity and it relieves us from the grips of misery SUBHANALLAH.
We have to also remember that things aren't going to be floating our way in perfect harmony, because this life is a life of tests and trials, it is not Jannah. It is not the End Station.
We think that this Dunya is the end but if we are smart and intellectual people then we will want to reach our goal and our target. And what is that? That which is never-ending and everlasting and that is the _Akhirah_.. *Jannatun Na'eem* Inshaa'ALLAH. We must make that our target.
We must do everything to please ALLAH SUBHANAHU WATA'ALA because we have a target and a station, which is the Highest level of Jannah
Understand the message of _Qur'an_ when ALLAH SUBHANAHU WATA'ALA says in
*Surah Baqarah Ayah 155 :*
*And WE will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient,*
Make a note of this Ayah because it is for YOU to understand the message of your RABB♥
When ALLAH♥ is telling us that " MOST DEFINATELY WE will test you... "
Why is ALLAH saying this?
*ALLAH is saying this to see if you will excersise _Sabr._*
You see, ALLAH♥ SUBHANAHU WATA'ALA gives us difficulties, challenges and museebah because HE wants to test our patience.
ALLAH♥ is telling us...
ALLAH♥is saying: WE will test you with just a little bit of fear, isnt that what is happening today?
And ALLAH ♥ is saying that WE will test you with a little bit of hunger.
Hunger can means so many things.. it could be that there is alot of food but you can't eat.
It could be that there is no barakah in your wealth.
It could be an illness.
And so many more things..
*وَنَقْصٍ مِّنَ الْأَمْوَالِ وَالْأَنفُسِ*
*وَالثَّمَرَاتِ ۗ وَبَشِّرِ الصَّابِرِين*َ - *2:155*
*And with a shortage in wealth, life and fruits*
Maybe somebody close to you could fall ill or be taken away in death etc
Fruits could be the produce of the land and it's products.
And then ALLAH♥ SUBHANAHU WATA'ALA is giving you the *solution* and He is also giving you the *Glad Tidings...*
_HE is telling you.. _
*وَبَشِّرِ الصَّابِرِينَ -*
*So give _glad tidings_ to those who excersise Sabr..*
_They will enter Jannah...SUBHANALLAH_
*This is our magnificent ALLAH ♥ SUBHANAHU WATA'ALA.*

Answers from the Quraan
*WE ASK*
*1) WE ALWAYS ASK: Why was I TESTED?*
*AL-QURAN ANSWERS:*
"Do men think that they will be left alone saying, 'We believe', and that they will not be tested? We did test those before them, and Allah will certainly know those who are true from those who are false." [29:2-3]
*2) WE ALWAYS ASK: Why I never get what I wanted?*
*AL-QURAN ANSWERS:*
" It is possible that you dislike a thing which is good for you, and that you love a thing, which is bad for you. But Allah knows, while you know not." Surah Al-Baqarah [2:216]
*3) WE ALWAYS ASK: Why was I burdened this way?*
*AL-QURAN ANSWERS:*
"Allah does not place a burden to a soul greater than it can bear. It gets every good that it earns, and it suffers every ill that it earns."Surah Al-Baqarah [2:286] & "So verily, with every difficulty there is relief: (repeated) Verily, with every difficulty there is relief. "Surah Al-Insyirah [94:5-6]
*4) WE ALWAYS ASK: Why am I losing hope?*
*AL-QURAN ANSWERS:*
"So lose not heart, nor fall into despair: For you will be superior if you are true in Faith." Surah Al-Imran [3:139]
*5) WE ALWAYS ASK: How can I face it?*
*AL-QURAN ANSWERS:*
"O you who believed! Persevere in patience and constancy; vie in such perseverance; strengthen each other; and fear Allah that you may prosper." Surah Al-Imran[3:200] & "And seek (Allah's) help with patient, perseverance and prayer: It is indeed hard, except to those who bring a humbly submissive (to Allah)." Surah Al-Baqarah [2:45]
*6) WE ALWAYS ASK: What do I get from all these?*
*AL-QURAN ANSWERS:*
"Indeed, Allah has purchased from the believers their lives and properties (in exchange) for that they will have the garden (of Paradise)..." Surah At-Taubah [9:111]
*7) WE ALWAYS ASK: On whom could I depend?*
*AL-QURAN ANSWERS:*
"(Allah) suffice me: there is no God but He: On Him is my trust- He the Lord of the Throne (of Glory) Supreme." Surah At-Taaubah [9:129]
*8) WE ALWAYS ASK: But I can't take it anymore!*
*AL-QURAN ANSWERS:*
"...and never give up hope of Allah's Soothing Mercy; truly No one despairs of Allah's Soothing Mercy, except Those who have no faith." Surah Yusuf [9:87] & "Despairs not of the Mercy of Allah: for Allah forgives All sins for He is Often- Forgiving, Most Merciful." Surah Az-Zumar [39:53].
If Allah loves you more than the others, He will test you more than others! Stop asking 'Why Me?' Instead praise Him more and more!

🌿Allah's tarbiyya for you🌿
When you are hurt by those closest and most trusted so that you may learn to rely solely on him and no one else.
He makes you helpless so you may learn the ibaadah called sabr ( patience ) for which the reward is immense.
🌿Allah's tarbiyya for you🌿
When he denies you something you crave just so you learn that it's not the right time yet, and he will give it to you when the time is right.
🌿Allah's tarbiyya for you🌿
When he denies you wealth or fame because he knows it will eat away at the goodness in you. It will cause distress to your deen or your dunya.
🌿Allah's tarbiyya for you🌿
When he gives you so much that you realise that your happiness does not lie in material belongings but by belonging in Jannah.
🌿Allah's tarbiyya for you🌿
When he sends you trials and tribulations and tells you that hope is around the corner. Have faith in Me!
🌿Allah's tarbiyya for you🌿
When he punishes you swiftly so that you are always doing tawbah and no dust collects on your heart.
🌿Allah's tarbiyya for you🌿
He delays your punishment giving you many opportunities to be thankful and return to his tawbah with more fervour.
🌿Allah's tarbiyya for you🌿
When a problem approaches you he shows you another in much deeper despair than yourself so you may say alhamdullillah.

The Lament of a Mother
By Naadira Chhipa
The day the doctor confirmed my pregnancy was the best news I received all my life.I carefully carried you inside of my body for nine months and experienced pain after pain but smiled at the thought of having you in my arms.
The day you were born was the happiest day of my life.I will never forget the first time I held my precious bundle of joy, love and happiness. My gift from Allah. You gave me the best title of my life, mother
The day you said 'mama' I cried tears of happiness.
The days you were sick and burning with fever I stayed up, holding you and comforting you.Never did I rest until you were completely healed.
The day you fell off your bike I cried more than you did as I felt your pain a million times more.
The day you took your first step into school I cried as I walked to the car alone.I did not want my baby growing up so fast yet I was so excited that you were growing and reaching new milestones.
The day you brought home a science project I stayed up till midnight to assist you in completing it.
The day you graduated as a hafiz my heart overwhelmed with pure happiness and gratitude to Allah.
The day you entered university I sold my favourite jewellery to pay for your tuition fees.
The day you made nikkah I was the first to hug you with tears in my wrinkles eyes and duas escaping my lips.
The day you decided to move out as you needed your 'own space'.I gladly accepted it and made dua for you, as long as you are happy I am happy.I sold my home and shifted into a small apartment just to finance your new house.
The day the paramedics called you to say I collapsed due to my high blood pressure was the day I got to see you again but alas it was also the day you admitted me into an old age home.
The days you forgot to visit or call me I called you instead.
The days turned into months and the months into years and now as I sit here alone with only your memories for comfort, I wish to see you again, to embrace you and tell you how much I love you.I wish to see your child, my grandson.I wish you knew that I am scared, lonely and sad as tears do no justice to how much I miss you, I have stopped crying for you my son.I make dua for you to always be happy, healthy, successful, loved and for you to never receive hurt, abandonment, heartbreak and tears from your son like I did.I continue to make dua for you to be the one who places me in my qabr.
That day as the kalimah escaped my parched lips for the last time I called out for you..a tear escaped my tired eyes as I closed them forever.

Divorced or widowed
By Naadira Chhipa
She once had a family just like you do.A loving husband who treasured her and his children, who was her garment of protection and comfort.Today she is alone, stripped off that garment, her tears and fears transparent for the world to see.He passed away in a fatal car accident which shattered her life forever. Her title of a wife was taken away , she was now a widow and a single mother.
She married her high school sweetheart and she adored him even though he had anger management issues. She thought she could change him.He loved her yet he worshipped his nafs. The day she confronted him about the drugs she found in his closet was the day he beat her so badly she needed to be rushed to the hospital.Never did she return to him.A divorce was issued and a marriage as well a love story ended. She was once a wife who loved her husband and best friend more than her life now she is a divorcee.
She was the most beautiful lady he had ever seen.An epitome of beauty and youth. As she made her way towards him all he noticed was her body in that black mini dress. She was his new secretary and soon to be mistress. His wife soon found out about his affair and their 30 year old marriage and relationship ended within a blink of an eye.His wife who raised his children, took care of his household while he worked long hours, supported him when he had nothing and stood by him when he needed her most was now a divorcee at 50.
They were married for only a month and the glow of a new bride was still evident on her face the day she found out her beloved husband had been hijacked and brutally murdered. She could not be comforted, no words could do justice to the storm of emotions that drowned her.She was just bestowed with the beautiful identity of a wife and now she was ripped off it.Her new bride title was quickly changed to young widow.
Before we blame and shame divorcees, before we feel threatened by widows, before we ostracize and gossip about their situation let us reflect and try to see ourselves in the same position. What if your husband had to leave this world today, will you be strong enough to face the world as a widow and a single mother? What if your husband issued you with three talaaqs after a heated argument, will you survive the gossip and labelling? Before we start gossiping and slandering these beautiful woman we need to realise that they are our sisters on Islam and we should be their support, friend, confidant and strength. We should assist and make dua for them as this to is a test for them from Allah and today it is them yet tomorrow it may be you.
May Allah grant us the ability to erase this negative mindset and stigma attached to divorcees and widows.May Allah grant them strength and patience to weather their storms and reach their island of hope as he alone knows the precious treasures which awaits them in the hereafter.Ameen.
Remember to consider these dear sisters when seeking a spouse for your sons and never discourage such a nikkah.
Powerful 3 letter Words
Powerful 3 letter Words that make a world of difference & will enrich our life.
To read with understanding... to contemplate & implement in large doses in our lives.
1.I thank u
Being grateful is the mark of a believer, not only being grateful to our Glorious Creator for His unlimited favours but thanking His creation as well.
Rasulullah sallallaahu alayhi wasallam has said,
"He has not thanked Allah who has not thanked people.”
( Abu Dawud)
The best words to express our gratitude is to say
Jazakallaahu Khayran.
2. Saying 'I Love U' meaningfully
Telling someone that u truly love them satisfies a person's deepest emotional needs. The need to belong, to feel appreciated & to be wanted. Ur parents, spouse, children, friends & u, all need to hear those 3 little words
"I l♥̸̸̸̨̨̨͡√e u."
If a person says it with his tongue, this will increase the love in the heart & strengthen the love between one another.
A man was with Rasulullah sallallaahu alayhi wasallam when another man passed by & he said: "O Messenger of Allaah, I love this man."
Rasulullah sallallaahu alayhi wasallam said to him, “Have you told him?”
He said: No.
Rasulullah sallallaahu alayhi wasallam said: “Tell him.”
So he caught up with him & said:" I love you for the sake of Allaah."
He (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam )said:
"May the one for Whose sake you love me also love you".
( Abu Dawood )
3. Please Forgive Me
All of us are imperfect & make mistakes all the time. But what sets us apart is the ability to humble ourselves & say 'please forgive me- I'm sorry.'
Never be ashamed to own up when u in the wrong or even if u not just to keep the peace to say 'please forgive me' .
U instantly become greater & elevated.
-
Many broken relationships could be restored & healed if people would admit their mistakes & ask for forgiveness.
"When someone hurts u or harms u, even if it is a deep wound, forgive them. Forgive them NOT for their sake, but as a sign of gratitude to اللّه
Subhana Ta'ala . Why u ask? (He Blessed u) for making u the victim & not the oppressor."
Show mercy & you shall be shown
mercy. Forgive others & you shall
be forgiven by Allah.”
(Musnad Ahmad)
4. I Feel Ur Pain...Let Me Make It Better...Let Me Help U.
Being there for another person & showing u care is the greatest gift u can give. When u're truly present for other people, important things happen to them but more so to u. U are renewed in love & friendship. U are restored emotionally & spiritually.
"The most beloved of people to Allah
is he who brings most benefit to
people, & the most beloved of deeds
according to Allah the Mighty, the
Magnificent, is that you bring
happiness to a fellow Muslim, or
relieve him of distress, or pay off his
debt or stave away hunger from him.
It is more beloved to me that I walk
with my brother Muslim in his time of
need than I stay secluded in the
mosque for a month.”
(Tabarani )
Rasulullah sallallaahu alayhi wasallam said;
"Whoever relieves a believer’s
distress of the distressful aspects of
this world, Allah will rescue him from
a difficulty of the difficulties of the
Hereafter.
Whoever alleviates [the situation of] one
in dire straits who cannot repay his debt,
Allah will alleviate his lot in both this
world & in the Hereafter.
Whoever conceals [the faults of] a
Muslim, Allah will conceal [his faults]
in this life & the Hereafter.
Allah is helping the servant as long as
the servant is helping his brother......."
(Muslim)
