Who is Allah

AsSalãmu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullãhi wa Barakãtuh!

*Who is Allāh (ﷻ)?*

He it is.. & it is He..

{Allāh is He Who has created the heavens and the earth and sends down water (rain) from the sky, and thereby brought forth fruits as provision for you; and He has made the ships to be of service to you, that they may sail through the sea by His Command; and He has made rivers (also) to be of service to you.

And He has made the sun and the moon, both constantly pursuing their courses, to be of service to you; and He has made the night and the day, to be of service to you.

And He gave you of all that you asked for, and if you count the Blessings of Allāh, never will you be able to count them. Verily! Man is indeed an extreme wrong-doer, - a disbeliever (an extreme ingrate, denies Allāh's Blessings by disbelief, and by worshipping others besides Allāh, and by disobeying Allāh and His Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ).}
(Sūrah Ibrāhīm; 14.32-34)

{And certainly We! We it is Who give life, and cause death , and We are the Inheritors.

And indeed, We know the first generations of you who had passed away, and indeed, We know the present generations of you (mankind), and also those who will come afterwards.

And verily, your Lord will gather them together. Truly, He is All-Wise, All-Knowing.}
(Sūrah al-Hijr; 15.23-25)

{He it is Who sends down water (rain) from the sky; from it you drink and from it (grows) the vegetation on which you send your cattle to pasture;

With it He causes to grow for you the crops, the olives, the date-palms, the grapes, and every kind of fruit. Verily! In this is indeed an evident proof and a manifest sign for people who give thought.

And He has subjected to you the night and the day, the sun and the moon; and the stars are subjected by His Command. Surely, in this are proofs for people who understand.

And whatsoever He has created for you on this earth of varying colours [and qualities from vegetation and fruits, etc. (botanical life) and from animal (zoological life)]. Verily! In this is a sign for people who remember.

And He it is Who has subjected the sea (to you), that you eat thereof fresh tender meat (i.e. fish), and that you bring forth out of it ornaments to wear. And you see the ships ploughing through it, that you may seek (thus) of His Bounty (by transporting the goods from place to place) and that you may be grateful.

And He has affixed into the earth mountains standing firm, lest it should shake with you, and rivers and roads, that you may guide yourselves.

And landmarks (signposts, etc. during the day) and by the stars (during the night), they (mankind) guide themselves.

Is then He, Who creates as one who creates not? Will you not then remember?

And if you would count the graces of Allāh, never could you be able to count them. Truly! Allāh is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.}
{Sūrah an-Nahl; 16.10-18}

{It is He, Who gave you life, and then will cause you to die, and will again give you life (on the Day of Resurrection). Verily! Man is indeed an ingrate.}
(Sūrah al-Hajj; 22.66)

{It is He, Who has created for you (the sense of) hearing (ears), sight (eyes), and hearts (understanding). Little thanks you give.

And it is He Who has created you on the earth, and to Him you shall be gathered back.

And it is He Who gives life and causes death, and His is the alternation of night and day. Will you not then understand?}
(Sūrah al-Mu'minūn; 23.78-80)

{And it is He Who makes the night a covering for you, and the sleep (as) repose, and makes the day Nushūr (نُشُورًا - i.e. getting up and going about here and there for daily work, etc. after one's sleep at night or like resurrection after one's death).

And it is He Who sends the winds as heralds of glad tidings, going before His Mercy (rain), and We send down pure water from the sky,

That We may give life thereby to a dead land, and We give to drink thereof many of the cattle and men that We had created.

And indeed We have distributed it (rain or water) amongst them in order that they may remember the Grace of Allāh, but most men refuse (or deny the Truth or Faith) and accept nothing but disbelief or ingratitude.}
(Sūrah al-Furqān; 25.47-50)

{And it is He Who has let free the two seas (kinds of water), one palatable and sweet, and the other salt and bitter, and He has set a barrier and a complete partition between them.

And it is He Who has created man from water, and has appointed for him kindred by blood, and kindred by marriage. And your Lord is Ever All-Powerful to do what He will.

And they (disbelievers, polytheists, etc.) worship besides Allāh, that which can neither profit them nor harm them, and the disbeliever is ever a helper (of Shaytān) against his Lord.}
(Sūrah al-Furqān; 25.53-55)

{Blessed be He Who has placed in the heaven big stars, and has placed therein a great lamp (sun), and a moon giving light.

And He it is Who has put the night and the day in succession, for such who desires to remember or desires to show his gratitude.}
(Sūrah al-Furqān; 25.61-62)

{(Ibrāhīm told his father); "And it is He Who feeds me and gives me to drink.

"And when I am ill, it is He who cures me;

"And Who will cause me to die, and then will bring me to life (again);

"And Who, I hope will forgive me my faults on the Day of Recompense, (the Day of Resurrection)."}
(Sūrah ash-Shu'arā'; 26.79-82)

{To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth. All are obedient to Him.

And He it is Who originates the creation, then will repeat it (after it has been perished), and this is easier for Him. His is the highest description (i.e. none has the right to be worshipped but He, and there is nothing comparable unto Him) in the heavens and in the earth. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.}
(Sūrah ar-Rūm; 30.26-27)

{Allāh is He Who created you, then provided food for you, then will cause you to die, then (again) He will give you life (on the Day of Resurrection). Is there any of your (so-called) partners (of Allāh) that do anything of that? Glory be to Him! And Exalted be He above all that (evil) they associate (with Him).}
(Sūrah ar-Rūm; 30.40)

{Allāh is He Who sends the winds, so they raise clouds, and spread them along the sky as He wills, and then break them into fragments, until you see rain drops come forth from their midst! Then when He has made them fall on whom of His slaves as He will, lo! they rejoice!

And verily before that (rain), just before it was sent down upon them, they were in despair!}
(Sūrah ar-Rūm; 30.48-49)

{Allāh is He Who created you in (a state of) weakness, then gave you strength after weakness, then after strength gave (you) weakness and grey hair. He creates what He wills. And it is He Who is the All-Knowing, the All-Powerful (i.e. Able to do all things).}
(Sūrah ar-Rūm; 30.54)

{Allāh it is He Who has created the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them in six Ayyām (أَيَّام -periods of time/days). Then He Istawā (اسْتَوَىٰ - rose over) the Throne (in a manner that suits His Majesty). You (mankind) have none, besides Him, as a Walī (وَلِي - protector or helper etc.) or an intercessor. Will you not then remember (or be admonished)?

He arranges (every) affair from the heavens to the earth, then it (affair) will go up to Him, in one Day, the space whereof is a thousand years of your reckoning (i.e. reckoning of our present world's time).

That is He, the All-Knower of the unseen and the seen, the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful.}
(Sūrah as-Sajdah; 32.4-6)

The Prophet (ﷺ) said:

"Allāh (عز و جل) said; 'The son of Ādam abuses me. He curses time and I am time, for in my hand are the night and day.'"
[Bukhārī; Hadeeth Qudsī]

"The Hour will not be established until 'Allāh (الله), Allāh (الله)' is not said on the earth."
[At-Tirmidhī; Saheeh]

‎۞وَذَكِّرْ فَإِنَّ الذِّكْرَىٰ تَنفَعُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ۞
[And remind, for verily, reminders profits the Believers.]
(al-Qur'ãn ul-Majeed; 51.55)
