Presents

“Islam is Fun”

An interactive four day Ramadaan holiday programme for boys and girls aged 9 to 13, aimed at increasing them in Islamic knowledge, motivating them to be better human beings and keeping them physically active. This programme was initiated last year, and children who attended loved it Alhamdulillah.

⏹DATES: Monday 27th June to Thursday 30th June in sha Allah

⏹VENUE: Upstairs jamaat Khanna at the NMJ Islamic Centre

⏹TIMES: 10am to 1.30pm

⏹DAILY PROGRAMME:

10AM TO 11AM: “Young Muslims Who Changed the World” WITH Shaykh Ismail Kamdar (featuring discussion about amazing stories from the Quran, sahabah we don’t know much about, Muslim kings and queens of yesteryear and Muslim scholars and inventors)

11AM TO 12PM: “Lets Become Better People” WITH ZIAD AMEER, a young academic from the UK who has spent time with children in various parts of the world including India and Palestine (featuring interactive discussion about subjects like honesty, respecting others, generosity and patience)

12PM TO 1PM: A choice between light physical activity with Elite Cricket Academy or craft making (personalised candles, washcloth cupcakes, monogrammed door hangers and creative Eid bags with Sister Bilkish)  

1PM TO 1.30PM: Wudhu and Salaah Adh-Dhuhr

⏹COST: R500 in total (not per day) – sponsorships/discounts available for those who can’t afford this fee

⏹DUE TO THE SIZE OF THE VENUE, PRE-BOOKINGS ARE COMPULSORY. PLEASE BOOK ASAP IN ORDER TO HELP US PLAN BETTER.⏹
